I'm Filipino American and this is my #1 cuisine in the world. To me, nothing beats a roti, doubles and chocolate milk. That just hits the spot for me.
Awe, I hope someday you can swap out the chocolate milk for traditional west Indian cocoa-tea (a more traditional chocolate drink closer to what the Amerindians would drink) .

GM David. Since I had already seen all of the videos of the Trinidad series, this documentary reminded me of the wide variety of foods and treats I used to enjoy when I lived there (born and bred). Brings back memories of my mother's and father's cooking. My mother being East Indian and my father being Chinese mixed, we had the best of both worlds which were two of my favorite foods. All the foods were all fresh and natural, and authentic. Trini foods: always imitated, never duplicated. The best and tastiest, imho. Well done David. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦

$100 for that lobster roti??? $50 at best. Not saying it's isnt good.... just the quantity alone kinda got me.
Gyro (yee-ro) is the Greek seasoned meat cooked on the turning spit Shawarma is the Lebanese version. Döner is the Turkish version. And Al pastor is the Mexican version. The shawarma wrapped in a pita is not a Gyro. Study up a little before giving people wrong information. Oh, and that "cream" you thought the Chinese chef at Wing Hua was using? It's corn starch mixed with water which creates the sauce in the dish. BTW, those giant egg rolls? We used to sell them all over the US pre-1990. These days, you can still find some places that serve them, though mainly in NYC, which is why NY'ers always refer to them as NY Egg Rolls.
