Ingredients:
• 2 and 1/4 tsp dry yeast
• 125ml/1/2 cup warm water
• 185ml/ 3/4 cup warm milk
• 125ml/ 1/2 cup melted butter plus 5 tbsp for brushing on the bread
• 60g/ 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 3 egg yolks
• 540g/ 4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• powder sugar for dusting the bread
Step 1
In a bowl, combine 1 tsp of sugar with the warm water and the yeast. Let the yeast activate for 5 minutes. Add the milk, the melted butter, the vanilla extract, the remaining sugar and the beaten egg yolks.
Step 2
Add the flour gradually while stirring the dough with a wooden spoon or spatula until it gathers in the center of the bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel and let the dough rise for about 2 hours until doubled in size.
Step 3
Deflate the dough and transfer it on a floured surface. Roll it into a rectangle and brush melted butter all over the dough. Using a knife, cut the long side of the dough into strips. Roll the strips into spirals. Arrange them on a baking pan, cover, and let them rise for 50 minutes at room temperature.
Step 4
Brush them with melted butter on top and bake them at 175ºC for 15 minutes. Remove them from the oven and let them cool a little bit on a cooling rack. Sprinkle icing sugar on top and serve!

No entiendo bien la receta en el amasado. En ningún momento vi que se amasara la masa ni al principio ni después que levó. Esa parte es muy importante y si la gente no lo sabe le va a quedar mal el pan.

Hi Adnana, the sweet rolls just came out of the oven. It's so easy to make them, I loved the fact that the dough is soft but not too sticky. I don't like working with sticky messy dough ☺️☺️ they actually had to bake for 25 minutes, at 15 minutes they were still quite pale, didn't brown at all. They are light, soft and buttery 😋😋

Hi Mita! ❤️ I am happy you like it! I use cream cheese frosting only for cinnamon rolls! These are simply melting in your mouth! You can use any topping you prefer!
