The depth that Henshall brought to the Jimmy Perez character was stunning. I could watch the show without sound and know so much about his character. Brilliant actor, brilliant cast, top notch writing. A fantastic show Shetland.
Favourite show😢
After not having bothered with this series since it was on so late here in Sweden and I was always too tired, I am now in the middle of it and it is such a brilliant show!
Will miss you playing Jimmy
You can how much Allison admires Douglas by the way she’s looking at him ❤
I think the heat is terrible when you are acclimatised to the cold. I live in a hot climate and find it impossible to go back to where I grew up in winter now as my brain seems to freeze. Thanks Douglas and the team. Thanks Ann Cleeves.
Shetland has become my little favorite
the final episode was so well done. I show ended on a very positive note. I will miss seeing this wonderful show. I love the music by John Lunn who also was the music writer/director of all of Downton Abbey series and the 2 movies. He is an awesome music man.
The Happy Valley trilogy is my favourite TV Drama EVER,but Shetland is right up there too!
I was already fascinated by Shetland before. The series “Murder in Shetland” (German title) encouraged me to visit Shetland.
The new DI actress will have a hard time. . .
My All time favourite tv show. Tosh is brilliant and Jimmy is great. Billy McCabe is awesome as well. As much as I love Tosh it’s not going to be the same without Jimmy Perez.
But, hey...listen! We could have wee Dougy take up his life, say, in a wee house over in Glasgow....and be available for valuable advice to members of the team, like Tosh [who will probably need some support in her promotion?]. So, as a sometimes useful advisor, Jimmie may still have a role to play. Possible? They could always pop down to Glasgow for a visit...and a wee chat to discuss the merits of a case perhaps! Ah well, here's hoping!
こんなにこやかなトッシュ観る初めてよ👀
Tosh and company did a great job ! ! ! Don't let the door hit ya.!
henshall will make a perfect rebus
you are missed the new series is rubbish
He's made the right decision. The screenplays have got weaker and series 4 is basically a meandering soap opera. And you can see that Henshall is losing interest in the show. All the bite it once had is gone now.
