I found it so absurd that Ethan expected to die by the poison exactly ater 60:00 minutes, and a SECOND later, he is already celebrating that was not actually poison. LOL.
It’s literally impossible to determine how long a poison will take to kill someone with anything close to that much precision. You would need to measure the potency of the poison and have exact dimensions and weight figures of the victim, which given the human body’s constant cycle of consumption and excretion, is never even consistent across any amount of time. This would also be determined by recent consumption, as a heavy meal for example might absorb some of the toxins in the stomach and make it less potent
The only way to get that kind of consistency across any person would mean you have to use a poison that would kill them in a minute or less, where the potency is so high that it doesn’t matter how big they are or how much they weigh
Ethan had no reason to believe that it definitely wasn’t poison either, because even a dud poison can still cause damage and immense discomfort
This game is so unlogical.

There is a reason why the deadliness of a poison is measured using the Median Lethal Dose scale (or LD50), which measures the required dose for a substance to have an approximately 50% chance of killing a person without treatment. 50% is the chosen benchmark, because the affects of a poisonous substance varies HUGELY from person to person.

congratulations Blake you just ruined a kid's life by killing his father for no fucking reason. you're only supposed to shoot the suspect if he/she attacks first, if so then all bets are off the table. in this situation Ethan did not try to attack another officer there for he shouldn't have been shot at all
As you can see when Ethan turned around he felt a pain in his side. From Blake's perspective it looked like he was reaching for something in his pocket, i.e A Handgun.
true but there was also a pause between the first shot and the hail of bullets. Even though that pause was in slow-mo, they should have stopped after the first shot

Marquan Owensby in the game is wasn't the police that were fucked up, it was the Blake guy that was fucked up and all of the snipers and police had to follow his orders, tbh if i worked for him i would've turned around and shot him so that ethan could get away with shaun 🤷♂️

listen this game might be detailed really fucking good but. usually most jails don't have that but if they just can't believe him or anyone they will ether beat you to DEATH or force you to commit suicide. poor Ethan man he didn't deserve that.

Indeed, glad i got the best ending
This game has three main messages
1) Be a grateful parent
2) Don't trust the police
and
3) Don't EVER fucking join the FBI
Shaun's death was just fucking disturbing. Also, am I the only one to find Ethan murdering Scott (with his permission) strangely poignant? I mean, obviously he's a sick turd, but still. Also, the fact he did that in front of his son. That's why I spared Scott when I got to that bit. I figured that Ethan was the type who wouldn't kill unless he had to (hence the Shark trial), and certainly not in front of his already traumatized child.
What happens if you don't kill him there? Is he just arrested?
Also, how did you trigger that scene in the first place? In mine Scott tried to kill Ethan but then the FBI guy showed up and started the fight scene.
@@GGABueno 3 years late, but eh. To get that scene, Ethan has to be the only one who makes it to the warehouse. Madison and Norman have to either be dead or failed to figure out where Shaun is (Madison doesn't get the location off of Shelby's computer and Norman doesn't put the pieces together/ can't put the pieces together because you failed too many QTEs in a previous chapter and didn't get vital evidence). Madison is more critical since if she figures it out, she can call one of the others who are still alive and direct them.
Also, if you don't kill Shelby in that scene, what happens next depends on if Lauren died in that car. If she survived, she will kill him in revenge for her son in that scene shown earlier. If she didn't, he walks free. Nothing happens to him. No one ever figures out he's the Origami Killer.
That ending was perfect! Having all death scenes and finish it off with something where we think he dies but doesn't. I just don't get it though u end with a non-death moment even if it is a death scene video along with the other videos..
To end it on a happy note? He was *'supposed'* to die by the poison, he believed he was, which is why it's included.
I had the same ending and I was like "damn, you thought the poison will kill you EXACTLY after 1 hour? you'll sure be dead soon", but it didn't, after all

Playing a game and watching it are two very different experiences. I've never played this particular one, but I did watch Pewdie play Ib, and then played it myself... It was still good. I don't see how Heavy Rain could possibly be ruined by watching someone else play it first, even if it does get rid of some of the grand reveals and such.

And really nice Police we have in this game. First shooting, then questions, typical.
When I played, Madison died when she jumped out of Shelby's window to get away from the fire, Norman died in the fight with Shelby, and Ethan and Shaun lived. I saved the shopkeeper and the religious maniac, I let the thug who had two daughters live, and gave that guy in the mansion his pills. Watching these videos, I guess I didn't do so bad after all.

I have my reasons to believe that Blake might be a sociopath. It means that he enjoys the suffering of others. That's why he is so aggressive and likes violence. He has no reasons to be like that.

Question, I was considering buying Heavy Rain, is there actually any gameplay or is it just an interactive movie?
There is gameplay, you walk around and can interact with objects as well as gear what the characters think after certain events take place. It's pretty cool. Quantic Dream make awesome games.
At 1:30 how do you get this ending? Ethan is the only one who gets there?
+Delta's Adventures Madison and Jayden died before and Ethan reachs the warehouse.
+Geovane Bruno or Jayden gives up and Madison gets arrested when she's grabbed by a police officer. this way you can get that ending without killing anyone except Ethan

Good work for these, some of these are very sad. Do you honestly think I've spoiled it for myself by watching these? I mean, I watched PewDiePie play the game, and I'm pretty sure he got the best ending, and I never played it, so I thought I should look at some other endings and scenes.
