He deserves so much credit. This team had two guys in the bullpen they truly trusted and they were essentially both closers. Corbin not only filled the gap in Game 7 but he was electric. Those were probably the best 3 innings he threw all year. He's earned every penny of his contract already. All of them have. That playoff run was the most incredible, thrilling, extremely nerve-wracking, and fun sports ride I've been on. Decades from now if a team has a strong of late inning comebacks in the playoffs, people will say they pulled a Nationals. I've never seen anything like it.

That hit was the greatest moment in Washington Sports history in the past 30 years. I have no clue how we got Howie for $3-4M a year when he was hitting .300. Probably the best value in sports history for someone not on a rookie deal.

Howie Kendrick’s homer was just like Scott Spiezio’s in game 6 of the 2002 World Series 😂

John Mulaney was doing a show at my college, and I had a ticket, but skipped it to watch Game 7. Absolutely no regrets

What a sound! A "gong" of doom for the Astros of 2019. I have been a Nats fan since 1952, when I learned that they were our team. We suffered through losing season after losing season in the '50s, through the 1959 season when they started respectably and, after the All-Star Break lost 19 consecutive games to break the MLB record. The 1960 team was pretty good, with young players like Harmon Killebrew, Bob Allison, Jim Kaat, Camilo Pascual, and then Calvin Griffith took the team to Minneapolis. More losses with the expansion team, and then Bob Short took them off to Dallas. No baseball for 33 years. More losses before respectability in 2011. Bad luck and losses in the first round from 2012 onward. Now, oh wow! What games, all through the playoffs! What a series!

Had Hinch brought in Cole who was warmed up, this game might of had a very different outcome

Very possible. But starters out of the bullpen can be very unpredictable. Look how Kershaw blew up in game 5 of the division series....
