I see the common setreotypical judgement that chicago is a bad city and can't support 2 sports teams if the white sox left Chicago they would become one if not the biggest market to not have a sports team, Chicago might be losing population but the ratio of fans who are committed to the sport on the south side is very large. The real problem is yes the cubs but also the white sox lack of success and bad ownership driving down attendance and viewership, the money is there and unlike Cubs fans they don't show up to games to pay a corrupt owner and a failing team. They fit as a blue collar team on the south side and if they move anywhere else it signifgantly ruduces money inflow. The white sox are in the middle of the pack when it comes to most valuable teams sitting at about average and much above any other sports team that has moved away in the past to my knowledge. I cannot understand the TV rating you made as maybe not for your standard because it was a very average viewship for its time and the situation they were in and it succeeded the next ws ratings. The comment that you made was disrespectful to us sox fans and not at all true despite stereotypes in the past. It's ok if you don't know about a team but please don't claim the team should move away.

The Expos were one of the best teams that year, but according to a computer simulation that ran in many newspapers, the White Sox won that simulated World Series over the Braves.

That 96 Yankees team was magical! To beat the reigning world champions 4 games straight after getting rocked in the first 2 games at home was something else. Ill never forget Mcgriffs homer off the foul pole just sucking the life out of us Yankee fans and then taking the last 3 games at fulton county stadium so we could win at home. Then 3 more in the next 4 years. Legendary team.

As an Astros fan, I can accept the asterisk for 2017, but where's the asterisk for the Red Sox in 2018?
The widespread cheating that ALL of the MLB teams were doing was still rampant in 2018, and the Red Sox got caught TWICE.

I’ll never forget 2022 and 2017! The only Times I’ve witnessed a Houston team win it all! Especially winning it all at home in 2022 after losing the previous year and 2019.
