There are actual real cases of this too, there was this mentally ill women who needed atleast three male caretakers to hold her down every time she needed to take her medicine. The thing is she was basically like 110 pounds yet somehow she kept overpowering her caretakers.

This is, to me, the definitive way that Michael Myers should act. It's like the 1978 version but he's just a tiny bit less mysterious. It's perfect.

I always saw it as Karen disassociating the memories with as little emotion as possible because of how painful both the trauma and her childhood were for her. It’s common with PTSD and bipolar depression, and I’ve done it multiple times going from emotional to completely flat and almost like I’m talking from a script
The mechanic kill is one of the best in any recent movie. The fact that it happens on screen but it’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it in the background is awesome.
I actually had no idea how that guy died until I saw this kill count for the first time. I watched this movie in theaters but even with the big screen, it was so well done I missed it

1997lordofdoom it’s because females were just damsels in distress for so long that it’s good to see strong ones to a lot of people. But I agree with you, especially when they pretty much just make them a man in a woman’s body by stripping away all feminine traits and replacing them with masculine ones.
I didn’t even realize that one shot of Michael was a continuous shot, but you’re exactly right. That’s one of the highlights of this movie for sure. It’s such a good callback to the original as well as solid implementation into the modern age
