_"I know where Gung's temple is!"_ Funny thing is, even if Emperor Zombie didn't already know that, it would have just been all the more reason to smoke the guy.
i love it when a characters design and stiff animations are contrasted with a dynamic personality, like death in the castlvania series, he swore so casually, yet looked like someone above swearing, and here is emperor zombie, you'd think his voice would be slow, hollow and breathy like a mummy, but no, he sounds like a comedian, quickly saying words with personality.

I know you asked this a long time ago, but it's actually kind of interesting, both the voice of Glossarick, Jeffrey Tambor and the voice of Emperor Zombie, David Hyde Pierce were in Hellboy, DHP played the voice of Abe Sapien, and Jeffrey Tambor played Tom Manning, and Hellboy was created by Mike Mignola, the same creator as The Amazing Screw-on Head.
It was a single pilot that was made by SYFY based on the one shot comic from Mike Mignola (Hellboy). SYFY channel then put a poll on their website asking if people wanted to see it made into a full show, and stated the poll said "no". However, many people doubt that claim, and more point to the cost of this pilot and the potential cost of an entire series to animate as the reason they never went further with it.
I think an issue with this show was that Emperor Zombie was the best character, any episode he wasn't present would have been lacking, screw onhead himself is just a bit too cliche and predicatble at this point, also this definately feels like something better shown to adul swim, why the fuck was this pitched to sci-fi?

His voice actor was a comedian, actually - David Hyde Pierce, who played Niles Crane in Frasier.

David Hyde Pierce was absolutely perfect for this.

He fucking ghosted it too 1:10 Lmaaaoooo
This is by far my favorite villain.

His response to the professor knowing where the temple is was priceless! 😂

Why can’t we get more shows like this? 😞
Zombie: what sort of punishment. Poison frogs? Plague rats? Giant fire breathing robots?
Patience: why not all three?
Zombie: marry me.
Hilarious and creepy. Hilariously creepily
Niles really snapped after that last season didn't he?
Should've seen it coming after he got naked at Cafe Nervosa.
Perfect villain material.
Replace Emperor Zombie with Niles, the old guy with Roz and the monkey with Eddie and youve got yourself a regular Frasier episode here
This was made at the wrong time. the humor wasn't for everyone back then. Nowadays this would have been a award winning show.
Mike Mignola, LOVE IT!!!

Bruh, Mike Mignola's art style is peak. It's crazy how cool it looks in animation
He wanted the smoke. There was no negotiation.
This is highly underrated. It's too bad the CD I bought way back when didn't have this scene in it.
Wait your DVD doesn't have this scenery mine does
Thank you algorithm
Watch this right after the Frasier episode "High Holidays". "I'm getting high on reefer!"
Y'know, when he said "smoke you," i will admit...
I did NOT expect that.
imagine if after all that laugh he said "I can't read the scroll after all"
I didn’t know this show/movie existed until today
xD I love his methods!
I wish David Hyde Pierce did more villian roles. He's so good here.

but why?
Last words before I spark it?
