Hope you are enjoying the open roads of America Adam! It seems like you are. I am enjoying some vicarious travels with you. I haven't been to Gatlinburg for years, it is nice to see that there are people there enjoying it. The mountains and scenes of nature are great in that area...Well, there are usually some great nature scenes no matter where, but I digress. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I might have to get another ATW shirt next month too.

3:15 My late grandfather owned an antique shop in a barn there in Wears Valley about 12 years ago. In the center of the barn were rows of benches facing a stage where there would be live music every Friday and Saturday night. I miss those days. It's so awesome you drove through there! I just passed through there a couple of weeks ago on a mini vacation to Pigeon Forge (I live close to Nashville) for the first time in about 10 years. Brought back a lot of memories.

I used to make donuts from canned biscuits, they were pretty darn good, and tasted like donuts not biscuits too. Also, of course made doughnut holes from the punched out center of the biscuits. Then glaze them while hot with a simple powdered sugar glaze.... oh now I wish I could get canned biscuits..... sadly they don't have them here in Germany.

That was the California comming out of you, wondering why kids would be holding a animal hide. Remember where you are. Where am from, playing with deer hoofs was fun. We tanned deer hides and my brother hunted racoons for the hide also. The carcasses never went to waste eather as people were usually waiting for them to come back from hunting to claim the carcass for food. Nothing should ever go to waste on an animal that is hunted. That is what we were taught back when I was growing up.

You simply MUST return to Blount County before leaving the area. Home of Sam Houston. Several locations around the county. And you really need to drive "The Tail of the Dragon". Hwy 129 on the TN/NC border. 311 curves in 11 miles. So much early American history in that neck o' the woods! Enjoy your videos!
