In and out Burger will not move to the east coast or south because of competition. Mainly because 5 guys burger joint is popular in my state and other states around me. In and out Burger said they are many Burger places in the east and they claim they will not make good business.
In N Out is still family owned, not franchise. They choose their market very carefully. They have ventured into Texas but thats as far as they have gone. I dont think Five Guys is competition for them, we have them here and they pretty much fall in the same category of McDonalds and Carls JR, not quite In N Out quality.
Ryan19812012 In n Out doesn't expand across country because they don't freeze anything and they haven't been willing to establish more distribution centers for their beef and potatoes that could ship close enough to avoid freezing.
We have Five Guys and Habit Burger and In n Out here in California and I'll take In n Out any day. It's not that they're scared of competition. They just aren't willing to sacrifice quality and don't need to. They already make plenty
What's with all the creepy mannequins in this town? On signs, in windows and even spinning on a wheel of death. Crazy. I'll just go back and hypnotize myself watching that taffylicious goodness that's like unraveling a big cable-knit sweater that someone keeps knitting and knitting and knitting....
I wonder if all of adams subscribers donate to him. At his last get together, all the crowed of people had adam the woo tshirts. So he makes pretty good money to travel.
You can get that screen repaired for just $99 at an Apple Store. And if you make an appointment, they will do it same day. They may have one in Knoxville.
James Hyatt because he said "its hauling you know what" instead of saying ass. doesnt matter its not a big deal just noticed he doesn't swear when its in certain phrases
i love that he does not swear , its a turn off to constantly hear swearing in vlogs .. and he had (has) a Christian up bringing where swearing is not allowed.. or good
Between the creepy glass blowers sign, your old prospectors style laugh when you show the corn cob pipe guy, and admitting to having an amazing talent for spotting fake rocks...omg...I laughed throughout this whole vlog. Love the "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" joke...because who wouldn't see that joke coming?Love your vlogs and you brighten my day! Thank you Adam!!! 💖
OMG the taffy store!!!!!! Best ever!! It sure has grown since I was there!! We used to stay at the River Terrace hotel. Thanks got my WOO fix for the day!!!! Thanks Adam!😀
LoL, as soon as you walked into that one shop, I instantly said to my self "My, what a lovely room of death." THEN "YOU SAID IT. "When Nature Calls" is one of the funniest movies ever.
Adam, I just watched TDW 1351 (when supporters become haters). You are living an ADVENTURE that most people wish they could do. Most enjoy your travels and get to see places and things that they will never see because of time or financial constraints . Just because you do or say things that some people don't care for, Heck with them and hope that maybe someday their hearts will soften. Keep up the GREAT ADVENTURE !!!!! :)
I said the same thing out loud to the attendant when I walked into the Southern Utah Wildlife Museum in St. George which has a large taxidermy display.
I love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, as a child we went there 2 if not 3 times a year and always stayed at the Creek Stone Inn. My bother and I would stand in front of the candy factory at The Village and watch them pull the taffy and we actually stood there over a hour one day and watched a batch go from kettle to wrapper.
The moonshiner in the window is a reference to the late Popcorn Sutton, the famous moonshiner from Cocke County, TN. He is a local legend, and he sure was a character! RIP Popcorn!
I haven't been to Gatlinburg since the 1990's . My children were little when we went . I was wondering , do they still have the Hard rock Cafe ? They just had opened it when we visited . I went in and bought a little guitar pin and on it says Hard Rock Cafe . There was this man in there shopping also . He started talking to us and telling me to hang on to that pin because it would be worth some money one day . He was some kind of collector . He was explaining how he made a lot of money off different things he bought and sold . He was an older gentleman . The things he was telling us was very interesting . I have never forgotten him and I still have the guitar pin . Thanks for sharing your adventure . Loved that ride you were on .
I wanted to drive cross country through many of your locations this summer with my family, but wasn't able to, so I'm literally living vicariously through your videos! lol. Thank you for this!
Adam, please PLEASE buy a screen protector this time, they are life- er - phone savers. The glass ones are the best, and there are tons of nice and cheap ones. It might get in the way of the camera a little bit, but at least it keeps Casper away!
2:23 Somewhere deep in my archives of "real" photos I have a picture of my dad and me standing on that bridge in 1967 when I was 3. It was in much better condition then. We went on the Alpine Coaster in 2015. My Facebook profile picture is my ride picture. We were just there over July 4th weekend. The ride was closed for a few days because some lady fell off.
You have my utmost respect for being a non drinker. Also I'm guessing you don't smoke? So kudos for that too. You're an inspiring, happy, healthy person who always makes me smile in these vlogs. Hope you get your phone fixed (hopefully with a discount). See you tomorrow!
I live very close to Gatlinburg and been there many, many times so I don't notice things too much anymore so it is nice to see the town through a tourist view. Oh yeah if you liked donut friar, you would love pancake pantry next door. Best pancakes you will ever eat.
You are getting back to the old school Adam The Woo. I am so glad you have reversed some of your wit. I especially love it when your voice sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Keep up the entertaining vlogs! :-)
If you like Donuts try Hurts Donut in Wichita Kansas and Springfield MO. The maple bacon long John is pure sin. They even set up in differnt towns driving revamped ambulances to sell out of.
That sucks about your phone. On a side note, I enjoy your channel immensely. I look forward to watching after a hard day. It may sound cheesy, but your vlogs are a constant bright spot in my day to day life. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Loved seeing your trip on I -81 in Virginia. I travel that same road when heading to Charlotte and only missed you by 5 days darn it. You continue to give us awesome stuff every day. Enjoy your time in TN. :)
Sorry about your phone, Adam. Glad Gatlinburg at least had a place that can fix it. That's a step up there. LOL about 10 years ago, my husband forgot his dress shirt and we went looking for one in town. Nope. Only tshirts and country-western shirts.
it's real moonshine when it burns a little when you swallow it and u get a little sweaty it's real moonshine. I got hooked on that stuff but not heavily. awesome time u had. I love those alpine coasters
I been following and watching your videos for a few years now and I always enjoy them. I wish you the best of luck in your travels and I always look forward to the next episode. Keep it up. :)
Loved the mountain coaster!! Would love to try that for myself some day. just a warning, but I hope that 3rd party iPhone 6 Plus fix doesn't cost you a limited warranty with Apple. My phone went on the fritz yesterday and I was told that with my model, any 3rd party fix would void the manufacturer's warranty. Hoping my problem doesn't require a refurbished phone, though I feel it is a software problem that should be able to be remedied. Here's to a fixed selfie camera screen without the headache of a voided warranty.
Ahhh... another great start to the day. Thanks, Adam! I must admit I'm surprised at the number of "Ripley's" establishments you come across. I thought that brand was long dead...
That ride thingy was awesome! Sorry about your phone Adam, hopefully you get it fixed. Thanks for all these uploads everyday I never really comment but I watch them everyday, you inspired me to start my own youtube channel and I will always be grateful for your content and the hard work you do!
That donut must have tasted amazing Adam, no better way to start a day! The mountain coaster is so crazy looking, I gotta try that too. There used to be something like that at Ober Gatlinburg where the carts sat in a trough not a rail and you had to also brake yourself. Wonder if it is still there? That Arnold impression cracks makes me up every time! Thanks for a great video Adam the Woo!!
Don't forget to go back to Morgantown WVA to see the new Don Knotts statue and to Marietta Ohio to see Dins 1st cousin's Mortuary museum - Bill Peoples
The Donut Friar donuts are awesome! Thanks for the videos, I love to travel through you. I've always wanted to take a long road trip and just stop at all the weird things along the way. Enjoyed your Cincinnati stuff too.
Gatlinburg seems like a pretty cool place. Put it on the list. And glad to hear you haven't touched alcohol in over a decade. Some people don't need it to have a most excellent time.
Adam, have you ever thought about seeing what's on the other side of those two dilapidated bridges? I've always wondered, but never had the time to cross the river and find out.
Adam, you are, truly an AMAZING dude! I smashed up my phone once, and was inconsolable for days. You just keep it mellow! Btw I heard it was your birthday on the day you made this video so... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!🎂
Great videos Adam! I've been watching for over a year now, I can't remember how I discovered your channel - there was a video of an abandoned amusement park with cars that were bees. That was the first video I watched. My husband and I are going to Gatlinburg over Labor Day weekend because of this video (driving from Cleveland). Just have to ride the mountain coaster.
Adam..the more I seer your videos of that Gatlinburg and the surrounding area... and hear you talk about how much you like places like that, the more convinced I am that you would love Wisconsin Dells. Very similar, but more to do and see.
Sorry about your phone dude. That's why I opted for the hard plastic screen shield; it has given its little life for my 6S+ and was WAY cheaper to replace than the screen. And that coaster--looks like something built by Coaster Dad in someone's back yard!
I don't no about other people but, I was out of breath when you got to the bottom of the coaster. That made me scream when you went around the corners. I'm glad I don't live in an apartment, the police would be at my door every day. I loved it, the coaster. Donuts and coffee, that is a staple in the USA. I love your tour. Chirp
Adam theres a restaurant on the second level of that one shopping area you showed that featured a buffalo burger. I wanted to try it last time we went but I wasn't that hungry. And on the pigeon forge strip there's a place where you can "pan" for real emeralds, rubies and sapphires. (It's shipped in from out of state) but it's neat and they'll cut the stones you have and make it into jewelry. It's a little pricey but anything with real gemstones are going to be.
Awwwww shucks, me and Grumpy Grandpa hate them there 2 words: "Vlog Over"! Seems like we just get immersed into your great vlogs and then comes those famous 2 words!!
Gatlinburg looks a really cool and interesting place, Adam. I've never visited the States but that's somewhere i'd definitely put on the list to visit when i finally get to cross the pond from the UK. loving your videos recently.
Adam....we have an Alpine Coaster up here in Duluth, Minnesota too...as I said before, you are more than welcome to come visit us and we will put you up! Love the videos!!!
That donut looked so good. I had "Five Guys" for lunch yesterday. I really like their hamburgers and fries. We don't have an"In and Out" where I live. Thanks for sharing your good times.
Loving the g-burg and pigeon forge stuff ATW! My lady and I frequent here as well, we're from middle tn, only a few hours away. You definitely need to try the Apple Barn restaurant and cider house if you've not already. Light 12.6 I believe, amazing food in massive portions, and anything apple related you could think of! Also the Old Mill in pigeon forge now has a lot of neat shops around it, also a great food choice for breakfast or lunch. In one week NASCAR will be at Bristol, just a little north of where you are and you don't need tickets to enjoy and film the neat stuff outside! Just a few ideas man, love what you're doing. Travel safe and keep the videos coming!
i left a comment a while ago saying u needed a good phone armorbox Adam. you can still film but u need some kind of security. cheap on ebay n some with built in screen protectors.. good investment my friend!
aww you went to my favorite donut place! I was up there today but did not see you oh well, still had a good time. I ate at the old mill in pigeon forge I recommend it. best club sandwich and fries anywhere! Oh you might be able to get that phone fixed cheaper in Knoxville. :)
That stinks that the screen on your phone shattered. At least you can get it fixed. You were hauling you know what on that coaster thing. Enjoying your vlogs of Gatlinburg. Very interesting and touristy place.
oh man... that taffy... I was just in Galveston this past weekend, and spent some time in LaKing's Confections on the strand and when they do the taffy pull, it's the most mesmerizing thing. Plus you get free samples right from the production line!
Great vlog Adam. Looks like a great place to visit. Thanks so much for the enormous effort of putting these videos together for us. Our "staycation" (vacation at home) is working out well, with your help. Have a great day!
A brand new Five Guys is almost done being built in my town. I have never tried it. But I will once it opens for business. But I have had Culver's. Culver's is headquartered not to far from my town. :D
I had 2 Shots of Wild Turkey 101 every night when I got out of the coal mines, let alone what I drank on weekends for the last 15 years until about 7 months ago when I got up and decided to quit cold turkey! No Pun Intended! I feel so much better now! I really did it for my Baby Girls! Hard to say no to Cute Smiling Faces!
Sorry to hear about your phone. I feel your pain. 😔 On a lighter note, I will definitely check out the Mountain Coaster the next time I am in town. Thanx for sharing!
I rode that kind of coaster when I vacationed in Haiti during a cruise and (while awesome) it can get annoying if the person in front of you is scared and goes slow cause it can stop the person in the back from going fast. Otherwise, totally worth going on it.
I love Gatlinburg, where else can you ride coasters, eat fudge, ride ski lifts, walk through haunted house, ice skate, see creepy old props and buy Christmas ornaments year round
Adam, do you get recognized and stopped on the street while you are filming? You should really show those moments. I mean, your blog is like a travel show to me, and my favorite part of travel shows is all the crazy, weird people the hosts run into. I suppose you're weird and crazy enough for us, and yes, that is a compliment.
When you get your phone fixed, a good investment will be a shatter resistant screen guard. Those things are awesome! One of our dogs bit my husbands phone and we thought it was shattered... When the screen guard was removed- it was only the screen guard that had shattered- plus- most reputable brands have free replacement guarantees.
adam i stayed in a cabin just across the road behind that hotel in the mountain and i wanted to ride that coaster and never got to try it thanks for this next time i have to try it
Check out the overnight repair folks, $200 is damn steep. Search "iPhone screen replacement" you should find a bunch of overnight places, just drop the phone off at FedEx and have it shipped back to your next stop.
Adam check out white oak flats cemetery. It's on the strip in Gatlinburg. David crocket is buried there and it suppose to be haunted. the town is full of ghost stories
Welcome to Tennessee and heat! I live up near Knoxville and daily temps are in the 90's with humidity just under 2000 Drive up to Newfound Gap in the park during the day, never gets above 80
If you are still in Gatlinburg, you have to try the New Orleans Sandwich Shop which is down the alley where the Claire's is. Try the french bread burger and the jambalaya. It's our favorite!
Since you are not from Texas I will forgive your ignorance of Whataburger to explain your delusion that one has to decide between In and Out or Five Guys. But I do love your videos, keep up the good work.
most of the store moonshine is 40% alcohol, some is 50%, and i've even seen 60%. Good stuff from the mountains will be 70%-90%, but most of those guys also water it down to 50-60% as well.
"This is a lovely room of death......" Funniest use of a movie quote I've heard in a while, safe travels Mr.Woo!
All I could think when you rode the coaster was "when this baby hits 88 miles per hour"!!!
...and the he'd find himself on a coaster cart in Civil War era Tennessee!
In and out Burger will not move to the east coast or south because of competition. Mainly because 5 guys burger joint is popular in my state and other states around me. In and out Burger said they are many Burger places in the east and they claim they will not make good business.

I know....I just want to keep watching the taffy go round and round and round...😮
That was exactly how a lion talks. Some fine fake rock spotting there. Sword free zone.
I just realized Adam never swears in his vlogs..
Why would he need to?
He's the son of a preacher man....probably had a good, clean upbringing.
James Hyatt because he said "its hauling you know what" instead of saying ass. doesnt matter its not a big deal just noticed he doesn't swear when its in certain phrases
i love that he does not swear , its a turn off to constantly hear swearing in vlogs .. and he had (has) a Christian up bringing where swearing is not allowed.. or good
+Justin Smith I'm happy about that because my kids enjoy watching too.
"This is a lovely room of death. Take care now, bye bye then" One of my favorite movie quotes! I lost it when you said that..
ha gotta love Ventura
+adamthewoo and you must be the monopoly guy
I said the same thing out loud to the attendant when I walked into the Southern Utah Wildlife Museum in St. George which has a large taxidermy display.
5:40 "This is a lovely room of death." Claaaaassic Ace Ventura line 😂😂😂
I wanted to drive cross country through many of your locations this summer with my family, but wasn't able to, so I'm literally living vicariously through your videos! lol. Thank you for this!
Gatlinburg is such a touristy place. The mountains are where people should really go. Chimney Tops is always a enjoyable hike.
Adam, please PLEASE buy a screen protector this time, they are life- er - phone savers. The glass ones are the best, and there are tons of nice and cheap ones. It might get in the way of the camera a little bit, but at least it keeps Casper away!
You really have a knack for finding the coolest stuff (and describing them, too). So glad you are sharing your adventures.
TDW is a non alcoholic production...and just look how much fun he's having....
you were almost in Gatlinburg in mid July! you could have met Sue , but beware he grew up quick and mean
Wish I could "thumbs-up" you more than once for that reference; and I'm a little sad no one else seems to get the reference. :/
well done
😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😃😃😃😃😃😃👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👊👊👊👊
Jealous of all the Gatlinburg fun! We wanted to go there this weekend but not sure it's gonna work out. Happy Birthday Adam!
You have my utmost respect for being a non drinker. Also I'm guessing you don't smoke? So kudos for that too. You're an inspiring, happy, healthy person who always makes me smile in these vlogs. Hope you get your phone fixed (hopefully with a discount). See you tomorrow!

It's amazing how positive you can stay even after something like shattering an $800 phone. My day would have been over. Teach me your ways sensei
You are getting back to the old school Adam The Woo. I am so glad you have reversed some of your wit. I especially love it when your voice sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Keep up the entertaining vlogs! :-)

They have one here in Norman, Oklahoma also!
+Nichole Bird awsome. when did it open?
+James Gerdes I think maybe a year ago maybe two....lol. Time goes by so quick. It is super popular I know.
Have one here in Coralville IA, can confirm amazing.
That sucks about your phone.
On a side note, I enjoy your channel immensely. I look forward to watching after a hard day. It may sound cheesy, but your vlogs are a constant bright spot in my day to day life. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Love the Donut Friar, man! The Village is easily my favorite place in Gatlinburg cause it's so beautiful and peaceful. Especially in the mornings.
it's real moonshine when it burns a little when you swallow it and u get a little sweaty it's real moonshine. I got hooked on that stuff but not heavily. awesome time u had. I love those alpine coasters

Ahhh... another great start to the day. Thanks, Adam!
I must admit I'm surprised at the number of "Ripley's" establishments you come across. I thought that brand was long dead...
I hiked the trails above Gatlinburg with GEORGE MCFLY. Subsequent vacations have never lived up...
That ride thingy was awesome! Sorry about your phone Adam, hopefully you get it fixed. Thanks for all these uploads everyday I never really comment but I watch them everyday, you inspired me to start my own youtube channel and I will always be grateful for your content and the hard work you do!

in and out all day everyday. the only thing Five Guy's has on In and Out are the options you can add to the burgures.
I actually came back to tell you...Keep it up Mr. The Woo. We love you video. You do a great job!!!
Adam, have you ever thought about seeing what's on the other side of those two dilapidated bridges? I've always wondered, but never had the time to cross the river and find out.

4:03 i went on a ride in 2011 at vietnam, simular to the one adam went on.

i left a comment a while ago saying u needed a good phone armorbox Adam. you can still film but u need some kind of security. cheap on ebay n some with built in screen protectors.. good investment my friend!
so many things to do in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area they are so cool just like you Adam the Woo ! keep up the great adventures
Great work Adam, nevermind the few salty haters here in the comment section. Can't please em all. The majority of us are right behind you!
aww you went to my favorite donut place!
Love watching your visit to Gatlinburg. I'm living vicariously through your videos! Where to next?
another great day with you Adam thanks for always bringing me a great smile
OMG - better and better and better.
I laughed all the way through this vlog.
"This is a lovely room of death" 😂😂😂 love that movie. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼🎂
Adam, if you want real shine, come over to Short Mountain Distillery in Woodbury, TN.
so technically, you filmed this episode on your Birthday! Happy belated Birthday Adam! here's to many more!
That town with all the hidden areas reminds me of daigon alley in a way. That's awesome
Five guys puts all of the extra fries in the bag to keep your burger warm.
I love Gatlinburg! The Donut Friar is the bomb diggety.
oh man... that taffy... I was just in Galveston this past weekend, and spent some time in LaKing's Confections on the strand and when they do the taffy pull, it's the most mesmerizing thing. Plus you get free samples right from the production line!
Memories light the corners of my mind, misty water colored memories... Of Gatlinburg!!!! Thanks Adam! Ah, Gatlinburg at night!!!!!
6:20 "I haven't drink since 2005", excellent !! Drinking no good. I found that people aren't as nice when they drink.
Depends on the person. I just get sleepy and silly. *shrug*
Well, maybe they just told you what they truly feel instead of PC'ing themselves.
Look back at his California videos. I believe he was drinking in a few of them. So, not five years. Unless he means regularly.
Lol! True.
I think You've convinced me to head here this fall for a quick little trip. Also...."the Tim Tracker??""" hahaha
Sorry to hear about your phone. I feel your pain. 😔
On a lighter note, I will definitely check out the Mountain Coaster the next time I am in town. Thanx for sharing!
Hollywood to Dollywood!....Those bridges were just a little sketchyyeeeee.....
Adam that ride looked so dope and u sounded like u were having so much fun ! 😍😍😍 that's a beautiful town you're in right now for sure
it is . I love it here
I rode that kind of coaster when I vacationed in Haiti during a cruise and (while awesome) it can get annoying if the person in front of you is scared and goes slow cause it can stop the person in the back from going fast. Otherwise, totally worth going on it.
I love Gatlinburg, where else can you ride coasters, eat fudge, ride ski lifts, walk through haunted house, ice skate, see creepy old props and buy Christmas ornaments year round
I don't know, I kinda like the shattered screen halo. Makes Mr Woo look, well, kinda majestic. 😎✨
Adam is the best vlogger ever hes so awsome I'd like to be with him visiting all these places
Adam check out white oak flats cemetery. It's on the strip in Gatlinburg. David crocket is buried there and it suppose to be haunted. the town is full of ghost stories
As a kid, I had an obsession with watching the taffy machine. Never was interested in eating it, just fun to watch.
Welcome to Tennessee and heat! I live up near Knoxville and daily temps are in the 90's with humidity just under 2000
Drive up to Newfound Gap in the park during the day, never gets above 80
