So I just moved to Stockbridge and I just finished watching Stranger Things (I know, i know). I kept hearing the school in Jackson so I wanted to go see it. Anyways yesterday I was looking for a park and I stumbled upon Hawkins Middle School. I was so excited!! So yes the lettering is back up.

I know that I'm late to the game but at 10:19.....you were pulling into a live set. Those signs are put up when film crews are in the area. They were filming season 2 while you were there! Probably didn't know it cause I don't think they announced season 2 until later.

I always wonder if Adam ever feels lonely on the road, like when he's driving. I mean i get lonely driving to the mcdonalds a few blocks away from my house alone. If he does I wonder how he copes with it. Good Luck on all of your travels Adam.

I live near that quarry and any water that might be in there is from rain.......................But the city of Atlanta bought it and they are going to fill it full and use it as a reservoir/city park. It's called The Bellwood Quarry.
I love going to filming locations. . it's like stepping into your memories, past and in your favorite movie or tv show all at once. . did that in Covington for Dukes and Heat :). Thank you kindly for all you do, Sir!

At 10:40 so cool! They are filming at the "Hawkins lab" while you were there. Those yellow/black signs are filming signs. Catering trucks and power trucks were present in your shots. Very cool.

ok adam high buddy well i wanted to inform you on your film marker on the road well there were not film markers the blue mark was a water locate and the red o e was a power marker and the x was the spot for the tiein but you did not no that cool just wanted to school ya blue is water red is power yellow is gas orange is phone markers now they are there to let you no they are there undergrown for a job being done there in the future or job finshed. i love your show just started about a month ago i will help you with gas my name is karl but my friends call me marty hope your a friend
That's funny. Cause hey also do that for actors. They assign a color tape to them and the tape will be put down where they stand. Interesting how they almost do the same type of thing
Why would you say that but the markers you can tell by the way its painted if you look sometime if you look at the mark and line it up straight like orange is gas so if you look straight down you might see the gas service its there so no one hits it diging

The yellow signs on the guard station pole at Emory are actually for the show too. That means they are probably working or shooting.

Rewatching this, because I started watching stranger things last year. I absolutely fell in love with the show, Season 3 was AWESOME!.
The grocery store (super market for us Brits) that Ell stole the eggos from can be found on center street, Palmetto, Georgia.
