    These amps are models of other amps. The amp name has letters that are brighter than others. Those give clues to which amp they're trying to emulate.
    JaCkMan = JCM
    AtomiC = Vox AC
    meteOR = Orange
    Blue Jay = Blues & Jazz
    ZoMBie = Mesa Boogie
    I'm guessing on some of these so don't be too harsh if I'm wrong.

    I just bought a Orange Micro Dark and am stoked with the tone, I use my Gt100 as my overdrive/distortion/modulations and I'm getting great tone, will be using it live and in rehearsal without a hesitation. These Joyo amps sound great also and only snobs will diss these amps but ears don't lie. Great for guitarists who don't have big budgets and want quality usable tone. Well done Joyo as this gives the low budget guitarists more options. :)

    Wonderful Video. I have several Joyo Series R Pedals and it seems to me that someone with a really good ear got together with an engineer who was willing to listen and designed the pedals. After watching this video I'm hearing the same design team in action in the design of the little Joyo Amps. The amps & pedals just sound great....

  • @rangerdoc1029
    @rangerdoc1029 Před 5 lety +2

    Joyo and Mooer are killing it. Amazing tone at affordable prices.
    I'd love to hear how these could be used as a pedal platform. I imagine the AC or BJ would be the best since they're cleaner.

    • @collinmckinney6952
      @collinmckinney6952 Před 2 lety

      They all have an FX loop for your delay/modulation effects. I think any of them could make a good pedal platform depending on what type of music you're going for. If you're going for a dirty sound you're better off choosing a dirty amp. I think each amp generally has a style of music it's been engineered for.
      Another thing you could do is have amp modeling in your effects chain and run straight to a PA and just skip the whole amp thing.

The Rival Sons, The Lazys, Glorious Sons.) so I’m looking at the Marshall Origin 20 head. To get that old plexi tones without the price tag. But have always had a soft spot for the Vox ACs. So for the price. Why not get this and have a great clean church tone as well lol

    • @JN-qj9gf
      @JN-qj9gf Před 3 lety +3

      Late reply but I think you mean the pinch harmonic. It's where you just brush the string with the edge your picking hand thumb immediately after the pick (then give it some vibrato). It's like other harmonics in that you have to find the right intervals on the string for it to ring out, but once you know them its pretty easy. Works best with a bridge humbucker.

    For $200, these sound bloody good. I'd have a hard time settling on a particular one. But I'm a bit of a Marshall geek, so maybe the Jackman. I bought a Roland cube because I wanted a little 20 watter that ran off of batteries. No possible way to make it sound as good as the Joyos.
    Question: What is the bluetooth for?

      @vintageantsinmyblood8153 Před 7 lety +1

      Karsten Johansson the Bluetooth is for playing backing tracks or listening to music through your cabinet

      @@vintageantsinmyblood8153 Backing tracks mainly. Guitar speakers aren't really designed for music tracks. They will work but they're not ideal. Acoustic guitar amps work better for that.

    I tried a Joyo Chorus pedal, foot switch didn’t work right out of the box. Quality is my biggest concern seeing how cheezy cheap the pedal was.

    Knowing nothing at all about amps, speakers cabinets etc. Would the jackman work well with a Fender Super Champ sc112 80 watt 8 ohms and a tube screamer thrown in?
    I'm looking at the fender based on price alone. Just having started trying to get in under 400 bucks for a practice amp that's not complicated just sounds good.
    Classic metal tones Rock and bkues.

    Nice demo. Idk if you had it at this time, but would of been cool to hear your 8 string through these. Or at least the zombie. And idk how new it is but joyo now has a 5150. It's called Vivo. Maybe your 8 string through that. Thanks.

    Hey man I love your stuff, and I just wanted to ask a question since you seem pretty active on your comments! Whats up with the Bantamp Vivo? I can only find one demo for it buried half way through a 7 minute video and he plays it for about a minute and a half. Just really want to give that one a listen.

  • @juanrogelrodriguez8285

    Hello. Can the BantAmp be used without connection to the speaker output and without connection to the headphone output at the same time, without harming the amplifier? Would the amplifier suffer some kind of damage at the moment or in the long run? I want to output the signal through the amplifier send to an audio interface to record the signal without cabinet emulation so that I can use my custom impulse responses, and at the same time I don't want to have headphones and/or speakers connected for a while, can this be done without damaging the amplifier? Thank you

    I have a 1x12 open back cab with a Tone Tubby alnico hemp cone 25watt in it. I’m guessing this would sound great with one of these little amps. Mainly for home recording and quiet jams. Thinking of getting the new model Jackman. Do you think it would be good.

    Hi, my question is if these amplifiers have enough volume to play with a live band, especially on the clean. Greetings from Argentina.
