I definitely find that I need to engage in fake positivity when I do long efforts. Often times telling yourself that you can do hard things makes those hard things possible.
I love her smile and she is awesome!! after her record breaking win at mont blanc she slapped all her fans hands as she ran to the finish. I love her!!!!!
This is sooo inspiring to me. As a 56 almost 57 yr old trail runner looking to run my first ultra I take Courtney Dauwalter on my runs 🤭. When I hit my hardest and when I feel like quitting, I always tell my self: "You have the heart and soul, the mental strength, and the passion of Courtney! And I always pull through! She is the Michael Jordan and the Kobe of trail running!
I am 54. Just did my first "real" ultra, 50 miler. Did a few 50ks before. The goal is to get to the starting line healthy. If you can, its in the bag already. Just gotta go through the effort.
For me Courtney is a legendary character 🙏 Already before she crushed Western States 100 recently she was my hero 🤗 I fell in love with her spirit 🙇♂️🙏
“Fake positivity to yourself” I once heard that forcing a smile releases all the nice brain chemicals which lead to an actual boost in mood. Good strategy when you’re struggling during a long run. Catch me at mile 2 grinning 😬
She is a lwgend, but after having kids it doesn't matter whether you're doing a 300k run or just done 6 hours in 3rd grade. Throwing something nutritious down stops that meltdown. Whether studying a 12hr project or running innthe hills you need to feed
If I can somehow start thinking of some stupid abstract problem or event I'll forget I was even hurting and realize it miles later I've been on autopilot lol
She has that freedom and kindness in her eyes at the same time. Beautiful. She’s an amazing athlete.

Nevermind running. That’s good life advice.
The truth behind how to “stay hard.” 😅
I like David Goggins' but I love Courtney's down to earth attitude.
She has a calm determination that instills confidence.
She is too cool, absolute legend achieving amazing things. And most people have no clue who she is. Not a slave to sponsors either which I l love.
Yep, she is awesome! Thanks for watching!!
I always say. “ who’s gonna carry the boats” when I start spiraling. lol. Great video.

fyi her name is Courtney Dauwalter
Is this Derrick of more plates more date's sister?
Is it just me or she really sounds like she's not there when speaking? Like her mind is still on the run?
FEET FILMS?
Close...Find Your Feet Films
Why does she look like an unreal engine character
I agree, like no hate or anything her eyes are almost unusually big
Adderall...Thats what keeps her going...Caffine and adderall...maybe phentermine or pro-vigil as well...who knows.
I'm prescribed methylphenidate (Ritalin) for ADHD. I don't think it benefits my athletic performance at all! 😂
Meth amphetamine will work, then make you zombies for Life 🤣
