@@chaotictoaster1094 I think it’ll get better with time. Teams need to find the speed and evolve. May take a few months may take a few years (think gen 4 at the beginning and then as the twisted sister). As for The iRacing version is definitely screwed up because it was rushed and there isn’t enough data yet so that’ll get better soon as well.

    Dear Nascar,
I'm not on a fan counsel nor do I sim race. I'm simply asking you to stop playing with the engines reducing hp and adding down force in this new car. Let teams get all the speed they can for the first few races then consult with drivers and owners. NOT FANS !!! You've already proven nobody can get seriously hurt anymore. Let those motors turn. Please.

They've been removing downforce. Stop your blind hatred for change. Also if you have an issue with cars being slow, watch F1 where they are quite literally the fastest cars in the world.
I've generally found the slower cars produce better racing. Drivers much more willing to take risks and all that. The speed is cool, but touring car racing (which (especially looking the Next Gen Car) Is what NASCAR is kinda emulating) is all about that good old beating and banging. There is a reason I saw if NASCAR fans want to branch out, do everything you can to watch the BTCC.

That's a video game not real racing. Does anyone not remember 2014? High hp and downforce track records falling every week. Most lead changes in years.
