I've driven the inner track there before! Was one of the Xtreme Xperence events, where we got to choose from a fleet of supercars to run the track a few times.

Was not a race. It was a public thing. Bring any kind of car as long as it's safe and they let you run around the track. Anyone can do this in just about in any kinda car

Hey Camelot - been following your videos for some time. I'm from Indiana and a long time racing fan, in particular have always been an admirer of Penske Racing, and my guy for the longest time was none other than Ryan Newman. All I gotta say is you're living out a dream, good for you, this is seriously about the coolest thing I've seen. I saw you drive it around your town roads too, just awesome. That car you have too, is one of my favorites Ryan ever had, beautiful shade of blue - I believe that's the '07 car used for non-COT races that year. Actually Ryan scored a pole in Charlotte '07, nearly won a race there in that same car (October race) but tire blew out with like 2 laps to go. Otherwise, Ryan and Penske actually had a lot of struggles from 06-08 but 2007 they had decent speed. I think you may be a Ryan Blaney fan from some of the other videos I've seen ? Maybe that is why you went for the 12 car. Anyhow, I like Blaney too. Well good luck with everything, keep it up, maybe if you decide to sell that thing someday I'd take it

You can buy them straight from teams or there is a guy on Instagram @stockcarsurplus I believe and he sell them, pretty easy to come by if you look in the right area, dont be fooled though there are fakes out there do a ton of research on a car before you get it, you'll find alot showcase showcars for cheap but if it's a documented actual raced cup car its gonna be pretty expensive luckily alot of the market is showcars unfortunately because 90% of the equipment teams have get shredded to keep the speed secrets from being discovered, also next year will be a good time to buy current cup cars and parts because se are going to a whole new car so the current generation will be sold.
How long can you run a set of tires?
We ran the new set all day. Fresh tires are better, but I think he ran about 30 laps on them.
