“But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.” (Quran 31:15)
Being dutiful to parents, obeying them and treating them with kindness is embedded in the teachings of Islam, however obedience to God is always the first and foremost duty in Islam.

I was born an atheist, I met a neighbour of mine (he just moved in) so I happen to speak with him one day and that very day we got together and he is pakistani, I never knew much about Allah but since when I met my now partner and to be husband everything changed, Allah is now very very close in my heart and always will be.( BISMILLAH ir-rahman Ir-rahim ) anyway tomorrow I am getting married with my to be husband and I will be converting to Islam at the same time, I love my to be husband but most importantly I love Allah the most, pray for each other brothers and sisters, care for each other, be happy, smile but STAY CLOSE TO ALLAH. Alhamdulilah, Allah is the greatest, say thanks to Allah for every blessing you receive whether that it just waking up in the morning, whether u eat, drink etc etc always thanks Allah because soon when you'll die you'll be sent to Jannah but if not... you will be sent to HELLFIRE so brothers and sisters, aunties and uncles please always pray and never EVER go against my ALLAH ameen

My future husband (not official but almost 4 years of friendship until Allah made us see we should be more) has never met my mom because she's on the other side of the country so I had them talk on the phone and I almost got a little worried she'd like him more but I immediately pushed the thought out and praised Allah because my siblings are married to people she's not fans of. Even though she is not a Muslim like he and I, she still treats him like she's known him as long as I have. Having my mother get along with him will help our relationship because I could easily spend 4 hours on the phone with her and I am glad Allah brought me someone that won't feel left out.
He is so real in his preaching that he got me crying 😭 these are the things so many women faced in society by thier mother in laws. May Allah give make me to marry in a good family who can act accordingly to his preaching 🙏

Please self love is the best love. Remember you should appreciate what ever you have. However, your appearance has nothing to do with if there is love between you guys and even age for instance. Please love yourself first because, there is someone out there praying for your body size, praying for everything you have. Not even one person in particular people in general. You can give a try on exercise every morning at least 10 minutes. Thank you

n k I had a very difficult time during the process but Alhamdillah I had the courage to tell my family and I ended everything. It’s all about self-love. I felt like I was being controlled by someone who didn’t ‘try’ to get to know me and I felt lost because I felt like my world was crumbling but Alhamdillah, allah (swt) had a plan for me and I’m much happier now

They stole my inheritance, killed my unborn 5 month old baby
Blamed me for everything went wrong and all sorts of black magic for confusing me, anxiety, depression, blocking me to work or earn money they destroyed everything and he refuses to pay back my money they built their houses and business from it
But still refuse to pay back and refuses to divorce me
Your pain is valid. And although forgiveness is a virtue in Islam, it's not an obligation. You don't HAVE to forgive them. I pray that for your own peace that you find it in you to carry your life with grace and overcome the trauma.
