    One possible application is if you can then recruit a immortal hero for them, then request and steal it, this means you can get any mages you want from any faction, or get strong heroes from other factions like Paladins from Bretonnia or Warrior Priests from Empire. If Changeling has vassals then you can do it much easier.

    also if we force them to recruit high level hero...that is so expensive that probably bankrupt them?
    I remember saved lord that is about lv10 cost 5k or so

    Dear Mercy this is a LONG comment, but informative I hope!
    Some things you might find interesting about the Blue Scribes in game:
    I had essentially "free spells" with the blue scribes, because they get -60% cost overall from their skill tree (15 times -4% = -60%), plus since I played Vilitch, there is an Eye of the Gods event, that gives you a bonus, which reduces cost of spells by a further 50%, for five turns. Basically, I was able to cast almost every spell in the game (no Lore of Wild spells or Runic spells for example) for 1 winds of magic (it doesn't allow for 0, it is capped at 1).
    There are other ways to reach above their baseline of 60%.
    Yuan Bo's defeat trait can further increase it by 20%, meaning if the scribes are in the lord's army with the trait, they get to cast some spells for 1 WoM, and they have -80% off
    Aekold Hellbrass is able to reduce the cost of lore of life spells by 20% because of his trait.
    If the beforementioned two bonuses combine, you can cast ALL lore of life spells for 1 WoM with the scribes
    The first army ability (the one that increases magic) also combos well with the scribes, since you are only using 1 WoM for every spell.
    I was also able to have a lord generate infinite amounts of magic, since he was able to cast plague of rust for 1 WoM, and he had the lore of death passive through a path of glory skill
    One LAST thing
    The blue scribes have a skill that lets them give an apocalypse spell for the army, last skill in the magic line.
    However, this spell doesn't disappear after the turn ends, so you can basically...
    Move the Blue Scribes from army to army, and when the turn starts, just move them out of the army, and the army will have access to an apocalypse spell, until it gets defeated I think.
    Also if you keep the scribes in the army, they overwrite the spell from the previous turn, meaning you can roll again for another spell if you are not satisfied with the current one.
    Cheers mate, good videos!!!

      @MercytheMad  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I haven't recruited the scribes yet, sounds cool, I will have to give them a go!
      I am not really interested in Kairos or Changeling though. Maybe I could try an Archaon or Vilitch Campaign soon though!
      Thanks for the explanation, if you have any more tips and tricks please pass them on!

      The game is BEGGING for full RPG mechanics where your heroes and lords are fully customisable and have branching skill trees that adapt based on how you employ them.

      Are you unable to recruit them if the other faction doesn't have enough money to buy them? Are you unable to recruit them if YOU don't have enough money for them? This seems like something worth testing.

    • @SkavenEnjoyerYesYes

    • @ekothesilent9456
      @ekothesilent9456 Před 11 měsíci

      @@SkavenEnjoyerYesYesyou only think that because you can’t see their treasuries. There are AI factions in this game that start with negative income on legendary difficulty and many of them hit negative income in the first 5 turns. Wissenland, hochland, and a few more minor empire factions hit turn 3 with 0 gold and negative recruitment. The only thing that keeps them alive is their built-in attrition resistance and replenishment buffs. The only hope they can ever get of expanding is having enough weak enemy armies throw themselves at their walls until they can get enough post battle income to field an offensive army.

    I feel like this being a thing is pretty funny tbh, and can also be very annoying for enemy players in multiplayer that already have it hard getting rid of you. Just imagine that now you are fighting vlad or the empire, and suddenly a hundred heroes come out of nowhere all lvl 50.

    Requesting any army that has a hero in it, and then killing that hero adds that hero to your recruitment pool. This is not as easy to do with Changeling as it is for Yuan Bo but it is cool that it exists and see no downside to it, even if it is a bug.
