@@eshaan570 good choice =/= better. He never said it was better once, even at the end he says his go-to would've been Festus but N'Kari was a good choice. Festus COULD be better but we'll never know unless we try it ourselves.

Yep you can get it from either defeating or getting an alliance with Astrogath.

If you go to 22:28 on the video you can see the talisman item equipped: Hell forged materials. I got this in my RoC campaign for the Changeling. From memory you get it from either defeating Astrogath in battle or forming an alliance with his faction. It’s one of the schemes for the dark lands and mountains of mourn.

Tzeentch Tanks!!! I love the fact that this is possible. Tzeentch can now Blitzkrieg all over the Warhammer world as Sabaton plays in the background on the Warp radio the Changeling has.
And the best part of the Steam Tanks is that they keep their original voice lines, so you hear them shouting for Sigmar while burning the Empire. I find that pretty funny to think about.

Shooting a dragon with a tank is the most Warhammer thing possible.

Aekold's AoE heal and re-invigorate passive aura is so god tier. And it definitely makes the best Changeling forms either Skarbrand or Nkari. They are both fast AF as the Changeling and can 3 shot most lords.
Aekold has a healing aura passive in campaign, he should stick close to the rest of the army. Really cool doomstack, love it!
Legend is aware, but the tanks were not really taking damage, more important to use him to distract and block units so the tanks have a blob of targets.

I made this comment yesterday because the game updated today, so if I play my campaign it will crash the game.
Turn 200 isn't that crazy, especially not if you have an end game plan like this guy did.
Never did I think I would see N'Kari dancing for missle troops while he has Steam Tanks and Dreadquakes decimating people

This guy basically turned the game into Command and Conquer
Had a multilayer game where me and a friend built up a gun powder, artillery, and cav army only and fought each other it like it was Napoleon Total War lol. Of course, we had to restrict ourselves to more historical friendly units so no Hellguns, Hellstorm Rockets, Steam Tanks, higher tier cavalry beyond Empire Knights, etc.
Kinda bummed that Changeling didn't buff his tanks with barrier.
I think one of the stronger combos possible would be playing as Belakor and getting a Vilitch led army with Aekold and a Shaggoth spam or having a bunch of exatled Nurgle heroes with them, if they get barrier and have Aekold for healing plus Vilitch supercharging the barrier it might just be the toughest thing in the game
To bad turning into Gelt for roleplay is not viable. :)
Now we know why Empire can field only small amount of Steam tanks - the rest were 'acquired' by Changeling. ( Lore perspective)

The thing that changed the most was the framerate 😂
You could make it even stronger. Beating an army that belongs to Ymrik rewards with an arcane item that applies 20% fire weakness to the whole enemy army, this combined with the flame banner that imbues fire damage could be fun. If something has a high fire resistance there's no problem, the banner most likely won't affect all steam tanks at once cause the aura isn't big enough so you either shoot it with one that isn't imbued or with Ch'N'Kari. Not only would the damage increase would be decent/good, it also would reduce enemy healing if they have some.

You probably looked at Aekolds breath of life in custom Battles and he's only got the AoE healing in campaign.
In custom and multiplayer Battles it only heals himself and they probably did that to prevent Aekold + Vilitch chosen blobs

You could use Eltharion for infinite ammo for tanks/mortars.
Symbiosis sounds like it only reduces upkeep for allied AI armies and not your own? I could be wrong.

How did you move your army to a new position while maintaining its exact formation like in 4:24? Im still trying to get better at TWWH3 and that is just like, a god tier mechanic mid-battle that would really help as opposed to constantly grouping and degrouping and dragging

Select units, then hold down Alt, then Left Click+Drag then to move them around in the same formation. While doing this, you can hold Ctrl (and either scroll, or move mouse I can't remember) to rotate this formation, which is what legend always does.
Alt+dragging units is the most useful thing I ever picked up. Only present in the newer games in my experience

In this battle Changeling dealt with most single entities by himself, while Mortars cleaned the infantry, so what's the point in tanks? Moreover Dreadquake Mortars compensate well for Vortex beasts main weaknes - missile infantry. Nevertheless, fun concept.
Legend or anyone else, can you explain why in immortal empires am I experiencing a bug often when attacking a settlement and they come out to fight, the map we fight on is half in and half out of the playable map. Half the map is blacked out, I can see where I'm supposed to spawn but my troops either spawn out of the map unable to ever enter unless they fly or all my army spawns with the enemy army un able to move and we end up fighting in a rectangle which is three infantry units wide also being unable to use the rest of the map the whole fight, we are locked in the enemies spawn rectangle by invisible walls. Fighting a doom stack of sigvalds RoR like that is difficult as hell.
Is the changeling able to mimic faction abilities as well, or how does he come into possession of a ikit nuke?
A scheme involving Ikit gives you 3 nukes. Use them well.
How would the be more beneficial than just making a tank doom stack with the empire?

You don't pay for borrowed armies, it affects allied armies and yours
not taking this skill is hypermassive blunder - not only it applies to your armies around Changeling but even his own. Probably the very best skill in entire game , nah it actually is best not probably.
@@Mario-kf3ej the +50% allegiance gain and -50% cost to borrow armies was already quite alright for 1 skillpoint so yeah with those other buffs actually applying to you aswell it's broken x)

The Changeling is so resistant as N'kari because for some reason, he has 75 armor. OG N'kari has like 5, which makes them super vulnerable to missile fire. Don't know if it's a changeling thing or just a set of very effective items to boost his armor
I experienced the same with the other Deamonic lords like Azazel or Belakor. Using them as Changeling felt somehow more stronger and less vulnerable.

Symbiosis doesn't reduce your upkeep, it reduces allied factions upkeep

@@meksil8776 is that a bug? I mean use it while you can, but that sounds like its not working as intended. CA will probably instantly patch it, as they love removing the beneficial bugs, whereas the game breaking ones will stay in the game permanently.
@@Frederatorr Idk, tbh before taking the skillpoint I was wondering about it. It doesn't explicitly say that it does not affect your own armies, it could say "own and allied armies" and it doesn't so it's a bit confusing. I think it needs to be clearer, they should edit the tooltip to either confirm it works on you aswell or fix the skill if it's bugged and add that it's only for your allies and not yourself. I initially took the point to gain more allegiance points and reduce borrow army cost though so even if they nerf/fix this it doesn't matter that much to me.
Throw in 2-4 warlock engineers and it's 👌
I think it might be the wrong type of skill, but if you change into Eltharion can you get break upon the walls for unlimited ammo

It seems like there's no point turning into most characters then if it's only ever the basic version.

It might be worth stealing an ammo replacement hero if possible. One less tank and the army is ready sooner.
The changeling can shapeshift into another legendary lord/hero. The 4 chaos dwarf mortars are from allied recruitments and the tanks are a regiment of renown that refills once every few turns, but he can't steal any heroes

Watching this makes me wish there was some environmental destruction, especially when that dreadquake mortar shell landed in the trees and the trees were unfazed.
I am surprised no one has send a Yuan Bo doomstack yet. He is stupid strong, and you can get an item that regenerates health in his campaign.
Legend himself made a Yuan Bo Jade and Jet Lion doomstack, but that's about it

They really added 2 of the most bs and easy campaigns possible while making it worse for everyone else.

@@meksil8776 well the changeling is bs to go against for everyone especially reikland and is almost impossible to fully get rid of if you don't do it yourself early. The jade dragon breaks the caravan mechanic and now cathay AI use it to get strong very quickly.
@@GVQuadra Well from what I heard the AI can't handle the Changeling mechanic and gets their cults discovered all the time cause they go full parasitic, as for Cathay, in my Changeling campaign all 3 of the dragons got wiped out before I even set foot in Cathay/Lustria. Yuan Bo by Mazdamundi, Miao Ying by Vilitch and Zhao Ming by Lokhir. Playing as Yuan Bo I confederated Miao Ying around turn 55 and she had less than 10 regions, and I saved the bastions by confederating the faction that initially holds it just before they lost a 2nd gate so I also stopped Vilitch from invading and probably wiping out Miao in that campaign aswell. We don't seem to have the same campaigns...
