Buzzcut with a proper low fade is the nicest cut for me..
To make it easier to take out the first guideline line you put in with the trimmer use the clipper with the lever close to put in the initial guideline it’s much easier to take out with a trimmer than you can follow that up with a shaver if you like
Hello. I admit that I have been cutting my own hair for about fourteen years, recently I started shaving the sides and back with a facial hair clipper (but I don't shave my face because I have a long beard,😀) and I have always had a problem with shading my hair... but practice makes perfect 👍 Greetings from Poland.

@@bobstelton9363 it was ok for firs time, i started my guideline wit .5 guard because i didn't want to go skin. Just take your time if you are also fading for first time
I bet it came out chopped up like it was for me and dont tell me squat i've been tryna cut my own hair w the phillips beard trimmer for 3 years and it always comes out chopped
@@jaystackz3425 probably needa try it was a clipper instead even if it’s a cheap Walmart clipper it’ll probably work better

Hey man, i used the 4 guard on top but it cut wayy to short. Its much shorter that yours with a 4 guard. So i just started improvising a bit and it still came out pretty good. But why did it cut so short with a 4 guard. Is it cause of the closed lever, direction of my hair? Like what could be some reasons?
It could be from less hair density or even the hair color? I have dark hard and thick hair so that could be the reason why you might it looks shorter. Or maybe the tool you used has incorrect measurements. I remember I used a WAHL trimmer one time and the guard I used was 1,000% the incorrect size and I messed up the haircut because of it. It could be a few possibilities.

I make the guidelines with a Kajal eye Pen of my wife..
