You're brave for starting a new guard w the lever closed. I always go from open to closed just to be safe. It also avoids the hard lines you're trying to get out w the scissors.

Alex always says it's shitty system. As an owner of one I have to agree with him, I alway mess us hairs on the back :/
It’s way better than the mirror system he’s using for sure. Quite opposite from the commentator above, i ALWAYS fucked my hair up using the 2 mirror. Just have to get one with lights built in

Halfway is the middle of closed and opened. But what do you mean with 4?
I think he mean only 4 notches on the lever
@@Mouaa24 i meant my clipper only has 4 notches but i heard that there is no half way because there needs to be 5 notches
@@josejosejosejose does the lever hardly stays on the notches or can the lever go anywhere and theres just 4 "options" for it to stay at? So u could place the lever between 2 and 3, means 2,5
@@Mouaa24 it cant move anywhere only move it to where the notches are so there is 4 clicks and it stays on whichever one i leave it on

BTW, the 3 way Mirror works 100x better than this mirror method. Stop being cheap and grab and illuminated one for 35 bucks. You Still spend less than you would going to the barber!

You need a specific type of hair type and texture to naturally achieve the flat top look. You don't have to watch any of my tutorials if you don't like the topic of that video.
