The port drive now has new Gimbal Bearing and seal, Driveshaft Bearings and all new seals in the upper and lower cases. The starboard drive got all new seals. Both engines have been aligned. Some new Anodes and Wear Pads and these units will be ready for test. I'll put a few hours on them and then pull them again for oil change and paint. - ALL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK by jcook007fix - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Very smart idea to use the shop jack, a custom cut brace, with counter weights. I'll remember that for sure when I do my bravo one x this winter. Thanks.
Dude, very nice video, extremely helpful, great visual and the music not too shabby. I could not have completed my outdrive install without it. Not to mention completed the job correctly. Thanks!!
Super video, thanks! I have to install a pre-alpha drive soon. Mine appears to have a gasket.
Great video. Thanks. Just finished replacing Bellows on my Bravo 3. Need to reinstall outdrive. I was wondering if I could use bellows glue to hold the O-rings in place. Looks like I can. Replaced the gimbal bearing also. The alignment tool is a little tight. Hopefully it will go in. Joe
Excellent video.
To be honest at the end after the rain when the multicolored screen came on I thought it was the weather radar...I thought wow I’ve never seen the radar screen with purple colors. Thought y’all were having a hurricane.
Nicely done, great help mate. Cheers.
need some help. is it possible that the clutch in bravo drive can feel like a spun prop? I have an issue with a boat I bought it doesn't seem to want to push it well. large boat with a 454. coupler appears ok I don't see any rubber. prop tested on my other boat . please help thanks
Awesome Video man!
excellent job! Thanks for sharing!
How does the U joints get sealed? No gasket?
Love how you stand up and kick it,that is exactly how I get mine on lol.
YO--YO Nice vid. thanks to ya BUT I think i would roll on the new o ring seal over the old seal then remove the old o ring then roll the new one back into place.that way NO way ya would cut the new seal ...
No gasket or sealer needed on the bra vo one?
I really enjoyed this bud, but I did have to laugh at the way you got the outdrive back in...I do the same thing. What I really like is your outdrive jack and holder. Is that just wood or did you make a pattern. I also have twins and picking up two Bravo-1's gets heavy real quick. I really dont want to pop $300.00 for an outdrive support and I already have 3 floor jacks. I assume that with the bar weights on the other end is to balance the outdrive on the jack to keep it from tipping over. This is the first video I have seen that you have done, but I will look for others. Thanks
This is a transmission jack from harbor freight. Thanks for watching. Find the link to my bravo one web page.
