On that note though, I feel like this week has been filled with annoying inconveniences for everyone that just feel so much more annoying than usual! (I for instance spilled almost a whole coffee all over myself and my car seat *yay!).

Hi Megan, this weekend I think I’m going to try to rest as much as I can, I just started my semester last week and it has me so tired. So all I want to do is cozy up, read, play anew video game that I bought, and hopefully not stress too much. I hope you all have lovely weekends.

i'm personally using a Hobonichi Cousin but i follow people who are using Filofax, TN, Take a Note, etc. because of the way they use their systems, how they decorate, how they solve problems and whatnot. the book really, at the end of the day, doesn't matter. (i always argue that your system should be able to work for you if you're using a blank notebook)
I'm going thrifting for CD's, this weekend, and starting my new Sterling Ink planner! I'm super excited. I also need to take down my Christmas decorations still and do some laundry 😅
I've actually JUST caught up with my journals while watching this 🥹 My 5 year journal is an immense source of joy for me, but I'd skipped a lot of days in January so I had to go back and fill it in based off of my daily techo. This might sound so silly, but I had so much fun doing that, haha.
I hope you do get to visit your grandparents this weekend! I'm sure they'll be delighted to see you 🩵

megan, thank you so much for sharing your system yet again ! the more i think about my life and the level of planning + memory keeping that it requires so that time doesn't slip past me unnoticed, and the more i've thought about how i want to accomplish that, the more that i've been drawn to just how customizable filofax is. but in all of my research, i feel like everyone's systems have been far too complex for me to reasonably wrap my head around or keep up with. this system, however, makes so much sense to me. i will definitely be coming back to this video for inspiration when i finally make the leap and invest in a cover.
as for my weekend plans, i work through most weekends ! but i did just return from an extended personal weekend where i visited some friends in another state for two days and it was lovely. we hadn't seen each other in at least a couple years and it was so nice to catch up again.
I love how you are talking about being able to feel a moment in time. I understand the feeling exactly, and that's what's so addicting about memory keeping and Journaling to me. I love the creative process but I love that feeling of capturing time so much too ❤😊

So I have had a couple of very rough weeks, working from 9 am to 9:30 pm including the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). My body and mental health have gone down the drain due to this (your videos have actually helped me a lot during these busy Saturdays), so I'm planning on spending the weekend cozying up in my bedroom with scented candles, weighted blankets and comfort books or movies - or doing whatever would make me feel better and rested. Next week I'd like to return to the gym after months of not going, so I really want to have my batteries charged. The world can be overwhleming sometimes.

This Saturday I cleaned. It’s been a while since I dusted so I finally did it. I’ve been sneezing like crazy but I blame myself. If I kept up with it, it wouldn’t have been so bad. I also did some reorganizing since my apartment is small and I don’t have closets, storage is an issue. Today I’m relaxing and enjoying the rain. I live in Los Angeles so it’s nice when the streets are a little quieter because there’s less people out.

Hi Megan, Saturday gifted me with an unexpected coffee walk and I got to start working on cassette recordings this weekend which was something I've been excited about. The past week was really long and the coming one will be quite busy, so it was a treat to have such a lovely weekend!

This weekend is chore weekend! Im finally feeling better after being exhausted for the past month since the holidays, so it’s time to de-funkify my space. Next weekend Im traveling to visit one of my best friends!
this weekend my husband, mother in law and I are going to go to an antiques fair to look around. Beyond that, my husband and I will be working on our kitchen renovation and I desperately, desperately need to do a good clean of the floors in general.

Hi Megan! Alas this is my weekend on for work so I'll be working all day Saturday and Sunday. But! I'm trying to be gentle and slow in the time that remains. My brain has been in need of deep comfort watches lately so I'm trying to do a lot of activities that bring me that sense of contentment while I do some re-watching. Lots of love to you and Wednesday. I do agree with a lot of what others have said of I enjoy the process of watching you figure out what works best for you, it's very exciting by proxy.

I really enjoyed this video. I can almost hear the viewers including themselves in conversations with you as you went along describing your thoughts and methods. I know, for myself, I followed along thinking a string of thoughts of my own in response and suddenly I burst a few words now and then outloud (crazy, right?). I believe you have a way of speaking that is inclusive and warm. I appreciate that very much.
I was not feeling well this week but I'm really looking forward tomorrow (Sunday). I'm driving my daughter to a pop up vending event. She is a seamstress and loves sewing items to sell to the public along with tarot cards, saning sprays, and Palo santo sticks. Quite a wiccan she is while I, her mother, is a Christian. What's more important, however, is the diversity of people in their beliefs, race, and culture. What is in common, however, is kind, thoughtful people, who are willing to spend time in conversations that are amazingly interesting. I love it. Hope you weekend is just as nice!

this weekend we've been resting a lot and staying in pyjamas because it's been over 30C and humid and the sound of the cicadas is scratching our brain out. also smoke alarm testers are coming over tomorrow, and on tuesday we have a 1-2 hour long meeting about our NDIS application, so we're hoping the rest will help us not be completely feral on those days.

I too think it's satisfying when you get to flip through a ring binder I have a personal rings that I just have full of different items it's not necessarily me documenting or keeping track of anything is just full of things that give you that dopamine high that.

it's giving me the hyperfixation joy 💖 may have pierced my filofax (i know!) because i wanted to put in a pin on the opened left side of the cover but then realized because i don't yet have a thicker cover-insert to give the following insert-pages a grounding surface and flipping the thinner pages onto the pin was a no-go, mistakes were made! i was so shocked at my unstrategized piercing but i think it actually unblocked something in me to make such a visually unnerving mistake. - i'm definitely going to cover it with something beautiful and it's a tiny hole if i take off my drama-goggles but yeah that's my little horrorstory this week. (it's not pierced THROUGH the cover haha it's a saffiano so it has this folder-slide-in-bit attached on the inside.) she's a pierced matured entity now and has seen the rougher sides of life. it's a shame that didn't work it is a very cute pin. - love to get the glimpses of the visual language of your books! with memorykeeping i love that little bit of copy from (is it fieldnotes packaging?) that, i think, goes "not documenting to remember it later, documenting to remember it now" i glued that in one of my journals and i actually filled it!
I may be in hobonichi but I still really like seeing your Filofax adventures! Like everyone else said it’s fun to see your process and also your pages look really neat, especially in the smaller personal size. This weekend I’m playing DnD and intending to gather and print some pictures/images for commonplacing later on!

hey!// this weekend i went to london - mostly for the Muji store which my bank account hated - but we just kind of explored and had coffee and went to the Forbidden Planet store there. Then we had lunch at the Persons 3 pop up ramen bar. Then we went to the museum district to go to Natural History and Science museums. Unfortunately, i got super overwhelmed in the natural history museum bc **people** but overall a great day! Anyone else get really irrationally upset that places like museums get so so busy at weekends and like, i feel like i cant enjoy it the way i want to! Ik its super selfish and gross of me but there we go lmk if im awful or if anyone else feels this way too ahaha 😅

This weekend I sadly need to start working on my final project for uni before graduation, and I'm sort of burned out from the first half of the semester so....hahaha but I'll be okay, I also plan to catch up on some of the last episodes of Sherlock and Co while cutting some of your stickers, it's a great activity while listening to the podcast, and I get some special interest interaction to recharge so fun!

This I had a hectic week at work I stay in bed till 11am and then headed to my facial appointment. I came home has lunch journal and sorted out my stickers before heading to my full body massage and cupping appointment. This was weekend was selfceare weekend I needed the rest facial and massage.
