God I miss this show. More specifically, watching this, I miss the chance of getting to be one of Craig's audience. I miss the days when going to a taping of the Craig Ferguson Late Late show was a thing. Because it looks like they had a fucking blast.
So it DOES have a studio audience! It's sad that the only shows that have a studio audience nowadays are game shows and talk shows. Sitcoms used to have them in spades.
Live audiences are fine for the early years of a sitcom, but they start to get annoying on sitcoms that are long-running because they start applauding for hours when each lead character or guest star shows up or says their catchphrase, & it really kills the pacing.

One thing you could count on from this show is that you could NEVER count on anything...which was great.
I was expecting him to open with, “please state your names and where you’re from!” And they would all speak at once.

Actually sitcoms do have a audience, only the four camera not the single cam sitcoms.
