What a difference between the starting out Craig and the established Craig. I don't know what encouraged the 'devil may care' flambouyant Craig but Hallef**kenlujah. Magic happened and changed Late Shows forever. Never afraid to make an idiot of himself, no made up questions, no fake laughter, no 'everything on the set HAS to be 'perfect'. So grateful to youtube for being able to watch a genuinely funny Late Show host do it how it should be done.

First awkward interview I have seen by Mr. Ferguson. I love Hugh Laurie's as an actor and musician, but the jab at the Scottish accent came across as typically English elitism. You can tell, if you watch carefully, that Ferguson had to put on a brave face.

I come to this video at times when Im sorry about the state of late night television. It went tits up after this. Craig was the best.

Ferguson changed late night television for the better & forever. Being so gracious to CBS, in addition to the show itself, proves that he's a legend. CBS underpaid him, under supported him (had hamster's promotion budget), took advantage and did not treat him like the gem that he was, however rough around the edges. A rough cut gem lacks over polished phoniness and shines the brighter in authenticity. Lightening in a bottle, man. Lightening in a bottle.

Ohh scheizer! This clip is over nine years old ! So Craig went and quit this show quite a while ago then? And I was hoping to find the channel in the UK which shows this stuff every week. Dayng it! 😖You would think for such a successful Scottish export to the US like this it would somehow make its way back over here to the shores of Britain on some regular tv channel but so far I haven't found it. Even on a cable or satelite channel even, but no luck. I'll still enjoy this show on youtube though. And wherever Mister Craig Ferguson is at these halcyon days I hope he's doing very well. 🎉❤🙏😒😢

2023, no late night host really compares, I think Norm MacDonald would have been a good fit, but CBS can only put shit on late night now.

Time to come back, I think. Corden showed how terrible late night TV can get when you sell out. Craig had a rabid fan base because he was open, honest, and just plain funny, despite CBS not really promoting his show like Corden's and making it a spectacle with stupid celebrities doing stupid things.

My only regret watching Craig fergusson is the fact that he left us, abandoned us and throw us to James Corden. what a crappy host ..!!
