Love Liv Kristine in Leaves eyes and old Theatre of Tragedy
Theatre of Tragedy's Aegis is still a masterpiece of an album in the genre for me. For Leaves Eyes in the Liv era that album is Vinland Saga.
It brings tears to my eyes all the comments praising Liv Kristine. Liv, you were and are one of the greatest vocalists of symphonic metal, goddes viking, magical voice, sweet heart, we love you so much, with your music until the end and nothing more. We love you, Queen!
Her new music is beautiful. She was and will always be the soul of Leaves Eyes.
Leaves' Eyes will never be the same without Liv. This is the way I'll always remember them. When Liv left, she took the heart and soul of this band with her. Thanks for sharing this with the world. NJORD!!!!!

But at the end of the day, this band will be remember because of its soul, in other words for Liv Kristine. She is a legend. No hate to the new singer, but after Liv Kristine, there is no more Leaves Eyes.

The greatest female vocalist! The band sounds great here, they are all very skilled musicians. This is so different than Theatre of Tragedy and her solo career; Liv does great in every musical aspect.
Lov Kristine is so annoying to listen to. Her individual breaths are far too noticeable and not edited out of her solo work
Have you heard her cover of ' the man with the child in his eyes '? A potentially mind blowing performance ruined by far too many audible gulps a air.

I love both singers and both eras of the band.

You've got that right. En Saga I Belgia was one of the single best concert productions ever created. I knew Alex and Liv and I just dont know WTH got into her having an affair with her therapist. That is ILLEGAL in most countries. Alex loved that woman and Leaves Eyes was all for her. OMG wth gets into people. That band will never be repeated. IT was oh so glorious for a few years though and I wont forget.
After comes the divorce , fightings , the terapist , may be infidelity , problems that affect the band and the personal life.
I'll always miss the Liv era of Leaves` Eyes. One of the first bands that really got me into the symphonic metal scene. I am glad I got to see them in the US with Liv on what would be their final tour with her. This era of Leaves Eyes will always have a place in my heart.
Alex's vocals are so awful, his growling was the part I've never liked in the band, and now that Liv is gone there's nothing more I can appreciate there. I'am grateful for see Liv in live twice, the good times, I miss her, I pray for another return of her in my country someday. You are unique Liv ♥ and I'll be always your fan.
Ugh, this brings tears to my eyes. My metal queen in her past glory. I can only hope she blows our minds out in her next band. Ive been a fan of Leaves Eyes since 2005 and the whole ordeal just upsets me infinitely. Amazing performance

Oh my goddess, so freaking awesome!!! Excellent footage and they did one of my favorite songs, "Ocean's Way". I was lucky to have seen Leaves Eyes with Kamelot several years ago and I got to meet both Liv-Kristine and Alex. His hair really is THAT long. He's also very tall (I'm nearly six feet and he towers over me) whereas Liv-Kristine came to my shoulders. The whole band was super nice and down to earth. I hate how they broke up though. Nothing against the new vocalist, but Liv-Kristine just brought something magical to this band. Her voice just fits.

Golden times with Queen Liv. Such a shame that this band has fallen from grace making generic music and sounding like the aborted foetus of Epica and Ensiferum in the last album. But the golden times always remains in memories.

Krull is a fucking tit-bag. It was his death-metal band before he met Liv and formed Leaves' Eyes. To me he's worthless as tits on a boar. Without Liv, there is no Leaves' Eyes.

I love Liv Kristin from theatre of tragedy but i never followed her in leaves eyes.
I started love leaves eyes from Elina Siirala and i like the band so return in the old stuff now and enjoy the first era band which i learn to love for different reasons.
But in my taste second era with Elina i like more,i believe that the band has a power dynamic which it's more close to my taste.
But both singers are amazing 😍.

Now, it is an insignificant band that have nothing more to offer while Liv can continue her reign over goth and symphonic metal.

She was the only thing that made this band the slightest bit relevant whatsoever. Krull sounded like hot garbage next to her. I'll just be keeping my fingers crossed for a ToT reformation.

No doubt about Liv Kristine is the best metal singer.
I don't agree with the coments below. Liv has good voice, but Elina has also beautiful voice. The band without Liv is as good as before.

Common this wasn't a good performance, just Liv was doing almost ok, still not her best... she is too much for this band and krull should have played the triangle without saying a single word. So manny sound failures also.
The band became so boring now. And its not ONLY because of no Liv-Kristine. Musically it has also went down the drain....

First time hearing them , no offence however they aren't very good at all , seem to be pretenders not contenders and the crowd looks kind of like " HUH , What the ...... " , Look kinda bored and not to excited .

To be honest, I feel the same about most videos of concerts. When you are actually there it is very different. The energies flow through you and the sounds beat through your soul. I've seen videos of concerts I've been at and I'm like "why does it look kinda bland? Thats not what I felt" lol
