My 81 yr old husband died 3 weeks ago. I am selling our property as I need to move closer to family. It has been very hard cleaning out my husbands clothes, shoes, personal effects effects as well as his tools and yard equipment. I am tired and overwhelmed. I know as time passes, things will get easier but right now its horrible.

so true ,lost my wife ,my whole world 4 month ago ,and i discover that the only people that call me after she died are few that went through death of a spouse ,they the only ones who knows that unbearable pain,no one else call and i feel so isolated and lonely

Spot on. I lost my 70 year old husband 3 months ago. The emotional roller coaster is just horrible. And my once very healthy eating habits have disappeared. And I could care less. It’s too painful to cook. Thanks for sharing.

My husband would have been 82 this year. I wish he hadn't smoked - he'd probably still be here! :(

Wow, you hit the nail on the head on this video!! it's been 10 years for me being a widow and everything you said happened to me. From being sleep-deprived, emotional one minute and fine the next to going through the drive-through way too much. Thank you so much. So many times I felt all alone and I sure wish I'd known about your videos back then.

Honestly, the first year for me is just a blur. It's only been 3 years now but the first was zombie mode. Walking around aimlessly, being in denial.

Once your house is sold you can never get it back. Please consider renting it for a year and in turn you rent in your new area for a year. This gives you time to check the state out and see if you really like it.
