We are still digging out of the snowstorm here in Michigan and finally, it's warming up! Desi is back taking walks and I am back being able to continue to explore my new city. I turn 69 on Monday and I am ready! I am thoughtful as far as this road I am on and where it is taking me.
I show you in the video my life here in my home...and I read excepts from the many journals I kept when I was very young and married to Bill. It wasn't until I read my journals this week that I realized that what I thought was my past was just a stylized version of it. It made me realize how deeply I loved and how deeply I hurt and how very far I have come to become a whole woman.
I have always been one to try to search for meanings and answers...but when I was asked if I have made peace with my past I realized that may not be in the cards for me...and that's ok. To me life is about renewal and growth and just when you think life has taken a dark turn, the light comes...the spring arrives and you realize you are stronger than you have ever been. Hope is everywhere...in everything. And you feel it..and you see it.
