When he pointed out the oil pumpjacks and said he saw them in west Texas my mind immediately changed the big hats that the Dawi Zarr wear into big Ten Gallon hats. Only thing I can think of that they should add is something in Zhufbar. Isn't that where all the best artillery for the Dawi comes from? Nuln and Nan Gau got a landmark and that's what they are known for as well.
yeah especially since with Skavenblight you have 3 races great forges . Zhufbar would be a perfect 4th one
Zhufbar really needs one, it has always been a one city faction anyway, it sits there with nothing, at most it will have 2 cities and 2 half stacks filled with bolt throwers and great weapons
Im sure Zhufbar gets something when Malakai arrives with dwarf rework someday. Its on the Souls map too, alongside Silver Pinnacle ala Neferata. People could have speculated a Dwarf vs. Vampire dlc earlier, but nowadays, who knows how CA will add both. Im sure they will add both, though.

Now we need Zhao Ming to start in Hanyu Port and Belegar Ironhammer to start in Karak Izor (Also a mechanic to change capital to Karak Eight Peaks).
"Conquer all the great forges" (nuln, skavenblight, etc) would be a fun goal for a chaos dwarf campaign

Heck, Warriors of Chaos really need some landmark - I don't think they have ANY useable ones apart from the one in Albion (which might actually be limited to just Be'lakor).
I like the multitude of capacity+ landmarks, always nice to have more winds of magic.
Yeah biggest downside of new magic system is missing out on crazy 200+ magic for factions you could get back in game 2

Tretch's starting province has been changed and his army has been moved. Mount Silverspear was not part of his province originally, while Darkhold was.
It would be great to be able to see a map of all possible landmarks for each faction, in the faction selection screen for example or even within the campaign. You could easily miss one, and it is cool to play different playthroughs working towards different landmarks to affect your campaign.
I am impressed with the number Chaos Dwarf landmark buildings. That is some quality stuff. Plus I am Imrik enthusiast so nice to see him get some new goodies.
That canal opens up another great pathway for my Nurgle campaigns. Hopefully the Dawi Zharr will make good allies, despite their dwarven physique.

the additional sea lane makes me wonder what other transport points could be added. I only want a pair connecting each province northwest and north east corner of IE map. maybe the model could be a chaos warpgate just for eye candy.
I would love to see more landmarks that can be claimed by multiple factions, like Repurposed Forge in Nan-Gau. It would seem appropriate that a Warrior of Chaos or Khorne faction can use the Bloodthirster Prison
Fort Dwarrslav north of Uzkulak is new, Daemons Stump was also not originally part of that province of the Tower of Gorgoroth :)
Amazing changes, that canal is really a huge asset, I suppose the AI won’t use it. But for wanderer factions or just to navigate from one point of your huge empire to the other (Grimgor end game ie), it’s a huge gain of time.

Hey Sotek just want to point out that that Landmark at The Bone Gulch(the Graves of The Dragons one) says that it gives +10 Physical resistance not +10% Physical Resistance and knowing CA I'll bet that means that the Physical Resistance is not applying correctly. If you would be so kind could you maybe find out if it is and let CA know about it before release? We'd all appreciate it

Seeing that huge green river really makes me want to play a Kugath campaign. Take over the darklands and turn the whole place into a vast growing biomass of toxic waste, then spread into the mountains and beyond...

With that sealane we will finally be able use the recruitment cost reduction in arctic and chaotic climates, once we decide to go north.

I bet the Fortress of Dawn landmark has tiers, it being a harbor in a major settlement. So likely alot better than 200 gold / 1% labor.

Regarding the Landmark with bonus to healing cap for Warmachines. If I recall correctly, there's an upgrade in the Hell-Forge Manufactory that gives Warmachines the Reforge ability.
I obviously can't check it and I might mistake it for the Hell-Forged attribute you can give the Bull Centaurs from the Manufactory, I'm not sure?

Great skulls lands with the farm/cattle building tree. I suppose those skulls make good fertilizer.
This is actually surprisingly lore accurate, in the old lore Kislev had some colonies in the north western fringes of the Dark Land that were fertile farm land.
I have one big request. I want the river to get cleaner if you wipe the chorfs out of zharr naggrund
DLC idea: "The Calm Before the Storm" and have updates to all the races of order before the final "EndTimes" DLC

The Skavenblight one is a little strange. Text, and perhaps twisted logic would imply that the guns should be stronger from this addition of Warpstone, yet it just makes them cheaper?
Should be 10% missile strength or something. Doesn't need to be wild but it should make them stronger, not cheaper.

Are there really no new Monogod landmarks?
Tzeentch currently only has two unique landmarks, they both suck, and they are both at the literal opposite end of the IE map from where Kairos starts.
He has one at the golden tower.

Wait!!!👀👀 So when you capture Skaveblight and build that landmark and you choose Zhatan the Black, you have arty for free cost? (- 50% Landmark and - 50% Zhatan Faction effect = -100% cost) 👀👀

Here's hoping that they maybe add a bit of flavour text for the Greenskin versions of those buildings. Like, the hatred between Black Orcs and Hobgoblins in the setting makes the relationship between Dwarfs and Elves look like a friendly rivalry, so if Grimgor and his ladz occupied the tomb of Khengai Khan, they wouldn't just let it sit there but instead defile the ever-living fuck out of it.
Might be neat if it also lowered enemy Leadership for Hobgoblin units specifically.

the landmarks look realy nice but one question is see in streams and in the video that chaos dwarfs have many +x winds of magic effect. is that chaos dwarf only of did ca rework the in creas magic while increasing stuff ? and is knolgeable like its old glory time again ?

Does the new landmark tooltip mean that you no longer see the landmark icon in cities where you can't actually build one?
yes, you only see it for landmarks that the faction you currently play can build. No more seeing savage orcs landmark when playing high elves.
I fully expect there to be more landmarks available and the new system to just be bugged, as always.

TW campaign map designers still on their A game. 10/10 changes to the Darklands, so wonderful and immersive now! Can't wait to play Imrik, Greasus (with Calm's mod that makes him stand) and Grimgore now!
