    Rooney didn’t disrespect the club at all, he saw that the glazers were parasites with no ambition and when they didn’t meet his expectations he asked to leave, in addition he’s our all time top scorer who gave 11/10 effort every bloody game! Sancho hasn’t put in 6/10 effort in any game for United and has no credit in the bank to step out of line.

    • @matthewmatthew9485
      @matthewmatthew9485 Před 22 dny

      Exactly totally agree with you. Just lazy when people moan about Rooney stepping out of line. Rooney is a legend of the club who would shed blood for the cause. Rooney never disrespected the fans not like egoistic Ronaldo. Ten Hag bent over backwards with Sancho never went public about why giving him time off and look how he repaid him. Funny how so called critics don't mention than when claiming Ten Hag didn't do the right thing.

    • @DirtyJamesUK
      @DirtyJamesUK Před 18 dny

      Rooney didn't step out of line and was well within his rights to ask about the club's ambitions.
      SAF was bang out of order and told him to f*** off.
      David Gill, fortunately, spoke with Wayne and cleared the matter up.
      We still remained weaker than previous teams/eras.
      Wayne had a point.

    Of course an apology on the spot would have been the right thing. Sancho really let us down, Antony was out at the time because of his own drama. It was the perfect time for Sancho to come in and get a run of games and prove that he deserved that spot in the starting eleven. Instead he is (probably rightly) criticized by the manager and he decides to throw his toys out the pram. As someone who has apologized, and been apologized to years after an offense (high school dumb stuff) I know it can change your whole perception of a person and it doesn't have a shelf life. However I personally feel that, unless Sancho expresses his remorse in public, the manager has lost power by letting him back into the setup.

    Many people are criticizing Rory, but I understand where he's coming from. I also recognize the feel-good factor returning to the club, which is exciting for us United fans (well, sort of). Let's be honest: if Sancho is not sold, he could potentially become a divisive figure in the dressing room. He clearly doesn't rate the manager (c'mon he had eight months to apologise). Unless he publicly states that he has apologized or something similar, I don't see him sitting happily or peacefully on the bench next season. The best-case scenario is that Sancho finds his form and silences the critics with strong performances. If not, the media frenzy will become toxic again. The manager cannot be undermined.

    Thank you Rory for talking sense! There's no way of getting through to this guy... Firstly, compaing JS to WR fallouts with managers is a legless comparison!!! JS performances, attitude and application were already awol.
    Additionally, JS can apologise anytime he wants - however, he should have apologised on the spot at the time to reconcile his future with MU and the manager. He chose not to. Instead he mocked the club by pinning his 'self-entitled' view on social media then proceeded to state 'I'm back home' on his loan move to BD. F' off.
    Apologies do have a shelf life when it comes to outcomes in current relationships i.e JS and MU. People can apologise later but you cant expect things to be the same.. he needs to go.

      He is only apologising because he hasn't got any other option. I always say - never apologise unless you mean it!! JS doesn't strike me as a person that means it! His actions reflect that like being slapped in the face with a wet fish - it's that obvious.

    Would Sancho have apologised to ETH if he had got a move that appealed to Sancho? Seems to be an apology of convenience for Sancho, as he is left with few options on his Very high wages and extremely reluctant to take a significant wage cut to facilitate a move elsewhere. So IMHO not a sincere apology, just a what's best for me mentality. He'll just take all the money he can get on his contract and leave on a free. Needs to knuckle down, have more respect and play his heart out for the club supporters who pay his wages.

    Rory the issue was not btw you and Sancho, Eric experienced the hole debacle yet still choose to move forward however according to Rory that's the wrong decision, for people to decide how they handle the transaction of moving forward for a better outcome for them, but it seems Rory knows it all..Wow interesting🙄

    As an act of contrition he should repay every penny he was paid while he was having his childish tantrum. Saying sorry is too easy and is often worthless and said as a lie, as a manipulation to satisfy ones own ends.

    Because he was right to go about things how he did but if it buried then it’s buried.

    Rory is a complete tool. I have never felt so strongly about a person. His views are not to be respected. A work place is a two way agreement. You are and should be allowed to have a disagreement and different opinion to your bosses and the company that employs you. You may have a contract but no one is a slave and everyone has the right to make choices. You cannot say you agree with everything your bosses say, that is why a person has the right to challenge their appraisal.

      Well then if there is to be respect then Sancho had to come and say that he disagrees with Ten Hag assessment of his will to train but that he will keep trying because he understands the nature of the game, he shouldn’t have come up saying that he is being made an escape goat implying that Ten Hag is not only lying but using him as a distraction because he is a failure. And he should not have cashed his checks since he was playing or training for the club if he is that big about respect, but we all know he isn’t.

    He didn’t play for the club, not ten hag. Players play for the badge and he refused to make that happen. Player is dead and hasn’t even been good in the 3 years at Utd under 3 different managers. Move on and should never wear the shirt again, especially ahead of Garnacho Rashford and amad, even Antony who put it in when we were desperate
