Honestly I think Walle might be the good guy here, the people on that ship seem to be more pulled into darkness until he came and freed them becuase at least they had a chalenge and what they needed when Wallie saved them. Plus from another stand point, the ships where meant to adbandon a planet bec they where to lazy to clean up after it so it's a kick in the teeth why they even entered space for those reasons. I think the devil put them in space to control humanity and this one robot might have just been there to free them after the 660 plus years. Just my theory on this though
My son loved this movie when he was toddler. Seen it a million times. Always thought it was dark but this adds a whole new dimension. Strikes me now watching synopsis how prescient it was too.

It can also be seen as a retelling of The Lion King. Simba represents humans who left their home planet in ruin so they can live a carefree life. Nala, Simba's girlfriend represents Wall-e because he comes and makes them realise their duty to their home planet. This motivates them to make the selfless decision to return home.
The best I've ever felt was when I was exercising and healthy. That ship was the complete opposite. Which makes the ship evil. Wall-E put everybody back on the right path.

This is actually a Very common theory/synopsis of modern films. The Christ/satan complex being played out in various fashions.
The Matrix is obviously a main one for this type of discussion, but if you look closely, Most movies have this similar premise.
You bringing up the “number of the beast” reminded me why I was never allowed to watch Lilo & Stitch as a kid in a strict, Christian household- because Stitch is an abomination & his number is 666 (says in the beginning of the movie). 🤷🏻♀️

They also taught that All Disney movies are satanic, and would point out the different reasons because families would argue that at least a Few must be acceptable. But the line was drawn at Veggie Tales (also considered satanic), so Disney never stood a chance. 🤣🤷♀️
Yeah, I agree. If you go around looking for pretty much anything that even remotely resembles something satanic, you’ll see it, but only because you want to see it. For me, I believe something is satanic if it leaves an impact on the viewer that prompts sinfulness. Lilo and Stitch is a story about about a couple characters finding connection in a distressful world. It doesn’t teach that all that’s good is evil and evil is good. That 626 thing is a little interesting. But that probably won’t resonate with anyone unless they’re either into the occult or have thoroughly studied it. For most general audiences, I don’t see how Lilo and Stitch would convince people that accepting demons is good.

It's more likely an allegory for the story of Noah and the Ark. The world was in a mess so they built an ark (Axiom). They then sent a dove (Eve) to see if the world was habitable again (the dove brought an olive branch, Eve found the plant in the boot) so that they may return.

I've been watching a lot of film theories lately, especially Disney theories, as a huge superfan of Disney, I've a few questions, further theories, and other comments. In your old years ago video connecting Frozen to Hercules to Tangled to Cinderella to The Little Mermaid. After the release of Frozen ll, a lot of these connections have been disproven, like Tarzan being Elsa and Anna's brother because their ship had been in an entirely different sea then we previously thought. But these movies are all still connected, and actually, a theory I have is that Meg from Hercules is Mother Gothel from Tangled. I have seen evidence but I feel like you'd take this to way greater lengths. Also, when you asked about Ariel's mother, there is a prequel movie explaining how her mother had died. All Disney movies are connected if you look carefully enough in the background. But mostly this is just can you please do a theory video on if Meg is Mother Gothel??

The Axiom passengers were indeed in a sort of paradise, one of total dependence on AI machines. But it was paradise only because they didn't know or care. And they didn't remember how life on earth used to be. Wall-E could be considered a Prometheus of sorts because he was the bringer of knowledge, awakening, and adult life. A restorer of what humanity forgot generations ago.

I have a theory. We aren't getting the full story of what's happening on that ship in Wall-E. How would people be able to walk in such a short amount of time. It takes babies around a year to walk and they are walking because they saw people walking in the first place. But these people have learned to walk in less then a minute and they have never, not once learned how to walk. They're not even using thing to hold them up like babies use short tables to hold them steady. Heck they're not even walking. They're running. And never the less, it'd be pretty dang hard to walk after your legs haven't been doing anything for your whole life. It be so hard to get them to function. Not to mention how they're chubby. Even harder to get their legs to work without the proper equipment. Also, I don't see any plants on the ship, heck people don't even know what they are, so how are they breathing? Are there plants on the ship and they aren't on the chair the whole time? Or is it something else, something serious? Are they robots or then again something else? What's going on on that ship? Is there a need for another film theory episode on Wall-E?
No wonder I got Adam and eve feelings from this movie when I watched as a kid, especially after finding out that was the robots name aswell

I don´t think he whould do anything, BECAUSE HE DOESEN´T EXIST. As someone from the only democratic mostly atheist country in the world- the Czech republic (central europe). Excuse Me Everyone Do You All Have a Moment To Talk About Our Dark Lord And Savior Wall-E
I would say the big difference between the Garden of Eden and the Axiam and the people in/on them is the fact that the humans on the Axiam had a choice as to what to do with the knowledge they acquired from their interactions with Wall-E and his sprout. When Eve bit the apple she and all humans were punished by God to a life of mortality and struggle for survival. When Wall-E interacted with these people and gave them the plant they were wonderstruck and CHOSE to go to Earth to toil and thrive
The only problem I have with the theory was that God only had the tree there in the first place as a way for humans to show respect to him by not taking the one thing God hadn't given them himself
Quite so. Another reason the theory kinda falls apart is that EVE was literally sent onto earth for the specific purpose of finding the plant.

As someone disabled by chronic medical problems who is unable to work, stuck in bed almost the entire day with nothing to do but look at screens to distract myself from my severe pain and fatigue and other symptoms, reliant on pre-packaged food, living without purpose and unable to contribute substantially to society I can tell you categorically that the Axiom is NOT paradise.
It's not paradise by the Biblical definition either. God says he put Adam in the Garden of Eden "to work it and take care of it", not to sit and stare at the plants all day while God delivers fast food to him. That's the message of the movie as well, that the people on the Axiom are living in a false paradise and they've been brainwashed into believing they're experiencing the peak of human existence when they would be much happier having the freedom of living on earth, walking around and making their own choices.

For the Axiom being less than Paradise, the story is told through the perspective of Satan, who sees himself as saving humanity from what is essentially "sedation" by God

I really enjoyed this theory! And you are spot! If we are looking at Axiom as a pseudo-Eden. Theology analytic critc, Milton, also focuses on the idea that Eden is a place of labor. And that God believes that the gift of Eden is that it is a place that necessitates the laborious life- even the plants are performing labor (to grow and provide). So in many ways, Axiom is very much an anti-Eden, where humans have no need to perform labor. Labor was seen as the way humans are able to continue to care and continue life! Love this theological theory :D

In the Genesis Adam & Eve are commissioned to bring expand Eden to the rest of the world, which takes until Revelation to actually happen. There's definitely ways that Wall-E overlaps with some elements of the Serpent in the story, but it seems like they're subverting expectations with his role, not unlike what you pointed out about the Axiom being a surface-level version of paradise.

Tbh I suspect that after week on earth (since there doesn't seem to be any animal life, take away the cockroach) most if not all the people from the axium would probably start to starve, the only reason I can think of for this not to happen is if they are continually going back on the ship for a cup or food. To me it looked powered down at the end of the movie tho so idk
