What's so great about Buc-ee's?

- If you've never been to a Buc-ee's, think of it as a giant travel center combined with a provision store, southern restaurant, toy store and more. It's essentially a theme park on the highway.
The Walmart sized gas station nobody but Texas wants.

Where are you getting end of next year for opening? Last I checked they haven't even started the rezoning process on the site and that will likely take 4 months to get approval. Even then construction takes at least a year from ground breaking to opening and that doesn't include construction delays. I would be shocked if it opens before Jan/Feb of 2025.

Absolutely hate Buc’ees. You must have been at the one near me, in Richmond, Kentucky. I call it Cluster *uc’ees. That’s far more appropriate. Also, they raise their gas prices between 3-4pm and then drop them after 8. So fewer savings during rush hour.
Been once. It’s not for me. Just too crowded. And no tables.
So the name is Buc eee as in Bucky Beaver? I saw the stuffed beaver toys on display.
