@@Ennergyiezs There are some of us who do like the German ships, but are not part of the so-called "Wehr-a-boo" or whatever community that you are implying. Now, I do like Bismarck and Siegfried, but I also like Iowa and Alaska, plus the crazy machine gun that is Worcester(at least she used to be). Besides, everybody has their own opinions. Each to their own.

Seriously why is it so hard for them to put SAP secondaries on the Italian BBs? And buff Agir and Siegfried secondaries to make up for losing access to the secondary build commander skills on cruisers?
@@RedXlV They are to lazy to balance the tiers that aren't tier 10 to be good and have a personal grudge vs germans, hence why they're always on the end of being nerfed into the ground but not their precious op russians.

I say hybrid ships like battle cruisers, super cruisers, and the larger dd's, same with the smallest cruisers... should get to pick skill from both relative categories.
@@varsington if you read QA their criteria for buff/nerf is popularity. If ships are shits but people still play them they dont care (i love German lines and play them frequently although the powercreep)

To be honest… my GK secondaries are still going strong. The germans got a “base-buff” so the dispersion is just around 10% worse that before. I gladly traded that against 12,5km of range, -10%reload and the ability to shoot at both sides (yeah, since the base accuracy is buffed, you get some decent hits, even on the side that isn’t targeted)

Just picked it up and I'm loving it. Super fun to be rewarded for aggressive play.
Can be frustrating to almost be in range of secondaries and lose spotting on everything. A spotting plane would probably be a bit OP I guess.
This looks like my next coal ship. It is hilarious that I have Sansonetti and he basically has no ship to command! 😂 Napoli will change all that.

The fire chance is pretty bad for this caliber. Only 16%.
DM has 14%, Moskva 17%, Zao 19%, HIV 22%
The ship is fun, Just to point out that although BBs look to be getting their secondaries back nothing in that Commander Skill change that I have seen will return the range and accuracy back to the cruisers. As you stated the single skill for secondaries helps but it isn't quite there. That being said these secondaries are really fast firing and the Sap makes them quite effective, the only way to correct what they did to the Siegfried and the Agir would be to improve the rate of fire they will never get the range back I fear but if they can work at 9.2 they can be back to having what was part of their balance.
That Plymouth got reamed, all the BBs on that team broadsiding the napoli and then they turned away instead of turning into the enemy. The tirpitz that was crippled relatively early when he sailed into D and broadsided the yamato spent the whole match complaining in chat about other ships being dead weight. While on the right aide of the map they had 0 spotting as the gearing was hard up against the map edge launching torps at max range.

@iChaseGaming quick question, if i am not mistaking the fire chance on the guns in the game is 16% and in your review it is actually 18%. So i am going to guess, that you have played the ship before the release maybe and for the release they have changed the parameters. Because almost everybody that i have talked to said that the secondaries on the ship are underwhelming and they contradict your review of the ship. I think you look at it again. That fire chance raised my suspision more. many of the players are scraping the secondary build for range actually now.

A bit hard to hit citadel but turtleback not really going to bounce a good portion of Baltimore's AP, fire chance and HE damage for 254mm is subpar not reasonable but still useful, a lot of potential damage came from multiple airstrikes (348k each) but Napoli is still durable against any of it due to small structure and 40mm deck.

Where are the secodnary buffs for CA's..cl's and CV's. I build agir, and Alaska secodnaires..as well as all Pasta HEAVY CA's..they have a shit ton of secodnareis to start fires...and I build ALL cv's with all modules and skill to secondareis as I love nothing more then surprising DD's trying to snipe me.
I rather wish the Italian cruisers had more utility in their consumables. After coming off the US and French lines I feel like I'm lacking tools.

Either this ship or Yoshino for my next coal ship. However, consider secondary build on cruiser is no longer that viable, perhap Yoshino is still a better choice

@@ichasegaming I totally agree, just got it and this thing is a monster and brawls exceptionally well. Those secondaries are so powerful. Most fun i have had in a ship in such a long time.

Why do all the reviews say she has "long range secondaries" when she has the base tier 10 7.3km, not the 8.3km Germany and France gets?!
(Yes I know that would put them at further range than her minimum concealment. They could have put them at 8km stock, and that still doesn't explain the reviews calling them long range? they're literally less than average range)

A real shame cruisers don't get Manual Secondaries anymore, considering the buff that skill is getting soon. I'm currently saving my coal for the Marco Polo, but i'm honestly not sure which to get now, that, or this.

How do you overpen a broadside North Carolina.....? I freeze framed the shot and you landed all of those into its belt and hull. A disturbing number of your shots hit the water just short of the bulge and just vanished from existence, no traveling through water to hit the armor at all. That's so freaky and weird it doesn't make sense.
Yeah, was a bit disappointed at that salvo, who knows what happened to some of the shells :(

9.2km range is very questionable in high tier tho.
But 254mm main guns are nice. They can overmatch stuff like Mino, Smolensk and Colbert.
When concealment is 10.3 and secondary is 9.2 and you are a fast ship with fuel smoke, range is plentiful :)
to overmatch 16mm on smol and mino etc youll need 280mm guns not 250s

The reviews for this ship are all over the place! A number of people who really like this ship, but understand it isn't overpowered. The others hate this ship and see it as one of the most useless ships warships has yet introduced.
I've seen a number of battles with a Napoli just wrecking DD's who get into secondary range and helping teams during pushes.
Sucks that there is no way to try out ships, even coop with nothing gained from a test battle, to see how it feels.

Statistics show it is pretty popular. This last month as many people played it as Stalingrad or Daring. It I just a good ship I may hate to miss it. Though still haven't decided.

I think they have definitely changed some characteristics of the ship upon release. Unless I'm missing something, I can't get my secondaries over 8.8km.

@@ichasegaming after 2 years i have 68k coal with having spent 40k. I curenetly earn enagtive credits. I dont get how people habe these huge stockpiles. Its a stavation economy. I currently earn negative credits per game on the tech line ships im on at tier 9 (neptune). I almost never have any camos or flags either.

What is “fun” about a non player controlled game aspect like secondaries being a main component of a ship? It’s literally not related to player skill, aside from positioning and timing choices. Effective, sure. Fun? Doesn’t seem like it.
I’ll be sure to respect them in my DDs, and avoid or take them out.

Because it's not an actual icebreaker, it's just a term that somehow got stuck with the wows community. In Reality it's called distributed armor scheme where the ship is armored from bow to stern, while the all or nothing armor scheme leaves the extremeties of a ship unarmored.
its the WG ploy. they make new ships massively OP if the need money.... and they will try to nerve it back later (if they can). They failed with the Missouri. But they are still trying... always as explanation "but the spreadsheet says bla bla bla".

SAP secondaries are dogshit when it comes to dealing damage to angled ships and baad when compared to damage output to Americans and Germans because they start fires.

@@lucasmiller5977 The armor of this ship and her armerment are very OP, not to mention that if you push and you don't like your chances, you just activate smoke and run away, which is a thing that a lot of brawlers don't have. Also her secondary range and shell type is just absurd, the Germans cannot have this range and strength on their Cruisers after the captain rework, but the Italians can? how is this not OP man?
@@cypher3422 Because the main guns are very limited, the AA is trash, you have a huge 25mm nose part and smoke wont help you when there are radar cruisers, or torps around, since you dont have hydro. As he said in the video, you cant just push in and expect to see a good result.
@@cypher3422 I agree with everything except the main armament, but her inclusion of weak rear armor feels like a good addition to make her worse at running away and the good sap secondaries are the reason she’s a Tier X coal ship. I just think there is still enough counter play in the current meta to make her OP.
