    Don't show yourself too happy about this changes... Last time a CC/CZcamsr was so happy with a secondary cruiser, the nerf hammer hit hard.

      ​​@@MK-wx5vuYou mean all those BBs that have great secondaries, exhaust smoke + 8.8km smoke firing penalty, decent turning radius with speed, are super tanky with no superstructure and burn for ~15sec. when built only?
      Yeah they should nerf all existing 0 of them.

    Like 11 to 7 km, the napoli secondaries deal the most damage. At 11 km, the small caliber secondaries actually do plunging fire and farm super
    structure.

      ​​​@@user-yc2pk5iy7eI wish wg would let you decide where they aim at generally once you get full dispersion buff at 50% but make it so that you have to aim the secondaries (generally where they're shooting at kind of like a torpedo spread) to hit that specific part of the ship and then depending on how good the lead was it will impact how accurately they lead as well

    Button does not reset commanders at all now. I just enables 0 doubloons individual reset. So we must manually reset every captain. Also every skill tree (up to 5) need to be reset separately. GJ WG!

      @@ninobixio6156 did you try the RESET ALL CAPTAINS button in the 12.10 Assymetric Battles news article. Is all caps as that now is on the button in article. Not that shouting at you. I believe may have been broke earlier but certainly worked when pressed it. Game whirred had the nit responding box pop up but let it continue.

    Once you push the button: it does not automatically reset your commanders, and you can continue to reset them with 0 doubloons. (Or pay out Elite Commander XP if you want. . .)

      @@ReymonG90 I used everything available to boost them to a range of 12 km. It's more of a meme, but since you don't sacrifice much, it's imo still worth it. It could do 18k+ dmg, not counting the fires, when I was just testing it and playing like an idiot. They could deal probably 20-30k if you try which is a nice bonus, especially in the late game. It mainly helps when brawling bbs, supporting dds and such. I'd not recommend it though on Siegfried at all, she has fewer secondaries. You could arguably try a secondary Roon now, she gets the same range of 12 km and has more secondary guns. It's important to note that you can't play these ships like typical brawlers. Whereas Napoli is more tanky than battleships and can survive being attacked from many directions, these two can't do that.

      The problem with the German cruisers is they can't tank at all like Napoli. Napoli is indestructible when angled correctly, and if you really screw up you have the cloaking device button. It just is so much more able to get into and out of dumb positions and live, and the SAP secondaries work so much better than HE ones, that it's no contest at all. It is the only cruiser you can legitimately build for secondaries. You can meme with other stuff and maybe like bring a smoke buddy and try all this stuff, but nothing has the package of Napoli.

    Improved Repair Party Readiness is going to be better than the 4 point for some battleships now. Any bb with a super heal, any bb with a special repair party, any bb that can bow tank, and any bb that can use mobility to avoid damage. It's going to be a lot more versatile than a lot of people think, especially in late game when you're guaranteed to be targeted.

      You've literally explain what is wrong with this game... You've laid out the philosophy of BBs who camp, let their team die and only think about not taking damage.
      I'm not being mean, but from start to finish in your comment, I see a BB player I really wouldn't want in my team.

      @@shilombaba I think you are fundamentally misunderstanding why I’m saying this skill is underrated, and that you are completely failing to see why this skill can be better than it’s counterpart - tanking damage is required for it to outperform repair specialist. It specifically encourages more aggressive play to activate the skill, and it makes the ship’s repair parties more accessible every time you tank potential damage equaling your ship’s total hp. It rewards bb players for doing what they should be doing and still surviving until late game. I don’t know why you’re being so pessimistic about such a positive change to a literally worthless skill before this update dropped. If a bb player wanted to camp, they wouldn’t bother with this skill. They’d just take repair specialist because it is the better option for camping.

    The AA skill works in a way, at least to my knowledge, that during the time the AA is active instead of 1s per 1s active cooldowns are reduced by 1,4s or 1,5s per 1s respectively.

    I tried the napoli build, it was fun.
    Also tried out the super heavy AP on vermont. It wasn't bad, but I only tried one game and rolled up against a gearing/Worcester/Austin div with a random thunderer in the back and the cv on our side... It wasn't fun. Guns definitely benefited though.

    in the past they have given a full patch on most occasions to play with the new Cmdr. skills, plus they have included free demounting of equipment so you could make the most of the skills change. this is just one more thing WG is nerfing for the players that pay the bills and keep them in business.

      Yes and any DD that goes in and out of detect. You are detected and shooting? (it procs) pass island--concealed. When you leave the island shadow it procs again. It can mess with a lot of things

    We had napoli on console for a while and I just unlocked it. I hope we get the long range secondaries on our napoli on console. I love long range secondaries. Seeing a napoli go off like.w shleffen Is awesome . 11 plus km range is sweet

    For AA Defence and ASW expert I'm thinking of ships like Atlanta, which has infinite DFAA charges.
    I had some co-op battles on the PTS in New Steroid Napoli in which I was the only human. It's absolutely ridiculous what the secondaries can do against enemies whose prime directive is to get closer to you.

    I really want you to try out Dazzle. I'm going to play around a little today with my French DDs jus to see how that 8% speed boost looks upon spotting. But they might not even be the best DDs to use it as they should be focusing on hitting hard. I would love advice.

      I use it on the tier six and seven Italian boats and do not use the range mod. The gun range is just beyond the detection range. Get in range smack a dd or Cruiser and with a few shots and then quickly kite out of gun range and disappear. Just about the time dazzle ends. Works very well.

    Crazy powerful it might be but I seen a lot get finished quick so still takes the right spots and match ups. I just got one from a container along with 3 other ships from 5 containers so go grab some guys. Wouldnt have paid 30k myself, even for smolensk which seems ever stronger than this. BTW did they release the auction results? Or the price stays a mystery?

    At the other end of the scale I tried a secondary build on Dallas. (Yup. . . Dallas) All of those fine 5”/38s going to waste. Except the gunners are permanently blitzed on the torpedo alcohol. (Why not? Doesn’t have torpedoes.) Worst reload on 5”/38s ever, and they can’t hit the broadside of a barn from the inside.
    Fortunately didn’t cost anything to change it back.

    A big miscommunication by WG: that "Get Discount" is really confusing in that IF YOU CLICK IT, then ALL of your commanders are reset. All of them. that's fine, but it means you have a lot of commanders to reset during the upcoming snowflake event that you likely would not have needed to otherwise.

    Liine 4 - Furious. If I am understanding this right, the first fire gets you -10%, then the next two fires and a flood could each add another -5%, coming to a total of -25% reload time just from this buff? That's pretty serious sounding! Add adrenaline rush and BBs are going to start throwing like heavy cruisers. Jean Bart with this, plus adrenaline rush and its reload booster could be very interesting. Just purposely tank right in and get nailed a bunch and then kill four ships in one minute lol.

    I've actually found the Napoli secondary accuracy to have gone down about a month after it had released. Before if a destroyer got within secondaries it was basically dead. Now my secondary's fire off three or four volleys before they even land a single hit

    Schröder.... 12km secondary, 10km Detection. Also yes, it is fixed, you can reset unlimited times, i guess.

    This ship burns like normal cruisers, shes detection range are almoust like Zao, and she hase Main battery more then Henri (btw they both have 243 lenght and same speed). When they buff Henri it`s just normal cruiser,,,, But Napoli must have the same detection range like french cruiser (same lenght and bigger caliber) - 16 km...
    I dont get why they make this ship so strong and continiun sell it....

    What is the SAP pen on the 90mm guns? I already know the 152s got like 42mm of pen.

      for SAP secondaries just divide caliber by 3,6
      So 152mm = 42,2mm pen
      follows that 90mm = 25 mm pen

      You're right. I didn't double check.
      I thought seondaries' penetration followed a similar rule to the main guns (in which you divide the caliber by 14,3 to calculate penetretion values), but they do not align to this rule, as they have different ratios for the 90s and the 152s.
      How are sap secondaries pen values claculated then?

      Already tried it. It fucking sucks since the Agïr has terrible dispersion on the secondaries. You are better of with the standar Agïr build.

    hitting the button in the news doesn't reset all your commanders. Hitting that button gives you the discount and you have to manually reset every commander

    Just want to say thank you for this build. I don't think Wargaming is going to let us have this much fun playing this ship. I can see Wargaming nerfing this ship, for heavens know, they're trying hard to taking any enjoyment out of this game. Paultheboard is right, I can see a nerf hammer coming down hard on this or any other ship that is fun to play.

      They wouldn't be wrong to nerf it though. PQ said in this video and I think most of us would agree it didn't need a buff. It was still tons of fun (and very strong) pre-buff.

    Usually you get 9.2km and its more than enough. The 11km are not much of an advantage. It starts shooting a little bit earlier but in your case you was almost always within the old range. Not much more damage gained by the additional range.

      but you forgot to mention that it benefits you also in other way because torps will deal also +15% DMG with the skill

      doubt, most players are just bad, so napoli will never have a big impact outside competitive, and random battles are the most common game mode among the player base, it really needs to be something really fucking busted for wg get their hands out of their buttholes to nerf something

      People literally say this every time they see a fun ship, and WG has yet to nerf any released premium/special ship that the playerbase thinks is fun

      ​@@saltyvanilla3304they nerfed the thunderer and a nerf to the smolinges as two examples and they also nerved the Kremlin and the Schlieffen because they were a little too fun to play.

      @@Skerra-kk6sm you can't compare Napoli to those ships Man, Napoli Is not really that level of "op", like yes the secondaries along side the concealment Is for sure a fun combo but it has no radar or hydro, the main guns are mediocre cuz range AND reload Is trash

    this commander reset is very scummy,
    the reset already works, you need to press the "get discount" button to activate the 0 dubloon resets,
    then it doesn't even reset all commanders, and you need to do it manually,
    worst part: it doesn't reset all types
    meaning if you have a commander with DD, cruiser, BB and CV skills already picked, to fully reset them, you either need a premium ship of that class to switch over and reset or you'll have to swap to another ship of that class, reset commander skills, and then retrain them for hundreds of thousands of commander exp...
    so unless you have premium ships for that nation , full resets cost like 1 million commander exp on a 21 point captain

    i can't wait to try the new upgrade to furious, it will take a 30 second BBs reload down to 19.5 with all 4 fire burning and 2 floods going. of course, you will be dead in less than 2 shots from the damage ticking off your HP bar so fast..... no thanks WG

    Hang on, so he basically farmed solo ships on low hp all game. I play Napoli all the time, easily 500 battles with it. I can remember one or two games where I had the luck of just serially solo hunting shit.

      You have to go to the news article that mentions the new secondary skills and then click on Participate. Then you will be charged 0 dubs.
