This is the year I do the hand stand. Thank you Flo for the guidance and inspiration 🤸♂️🙏🏻
I am so happy I found this channel!
I have been practicing so much and am getting better! This video will allow me to do handstands stronger! Namaste! 💚🙏
Thank you for your excellent instruction and emphasis on key details. I have been consistently drilling HS for the past 20 months but focused more on various entries and catching float or a 1-2 seconds of balance because trying to stay inverted would cook my shoulders even with being able to do 60 sec wall holds. Finally holding 5-8 secs free standing more consistently and refocusing on more balance and alignment which this vid breaks down really well--coming back to the basics at every point in the journey and staying humble...
Good stuff Flo, I was accidentally listening to this in the background and you suddenly got y attention, I really love the specifics and especially the shoulder width. I have been stuck on wall handstands for 2yrs and hope to progress with your help! Namaste!
Thank you so much for all those videos Flow. Im having so much fun doing them all :)
Amazing video...really helpful
I have been practicing handstand for quite some time now.
Could relate to almost every thing that you have said. I loved the part where you explained how to exit the pose if you feel like falling 😄
Amazing content, awesome explanation and illustration! Thank you guys a lot for this and many other videos. I learned so much from you
Such a great explanation and exercises to get the handstand. Thank you so much 🙌🙌🔥

I'll join your Patreon community asap.
I'm greatful for all the guidance and wisdom you've shared that helped shape my own yoga journey

Excellent video! Thank you @breatheandflow
Great video keep up with the quality content
Thank you SO much for these tips! I have been struggling with my handstands, and I think the splits part will help me a lot. I don't know why I never thought of holding my legs like that to get balance. I was also placing my hands too far apart. It is going to take a lot of practice to get used to having them so close together. I have very narrow shoulders.
This is great i'll be re-watching this a good couple of times
Sweet, Flo! Thanks for that. I was waiting that video! I admire and follow your work. Hugs from Brazil

Hey guys, I hope you are staying safe, thanks for this video, very clarifying!! thanks a lot for sharing! stay safe, strong and healthy. Kind regards.
Super lesson!!!!
Funny how I got a chance to be one of the first viewers. I just said to myself, "im feeling like doing a practice" then I stoped working and came to youtube to look at your channel, and you had just posted it 9 seconds ago. Kind syncronic i think. And specially that video that ive been working handstands and has it as a goal for 2020. Just to add that, lol. Again, thanks a lot for your teaching, ive watched many of the videos and improved a lot my practice.
that is awesome it was there at the right time! start with this, work through it but if handstand is your goal for 2020 you have to get started on the full 20 video handstand program on patreon ✌️🙏
Thank you so much for this video!
Great!!!!!! Thank you so much!

thank you for such great explanation :))
Great Video 😊 thank you
Brilliant chap
Great!!!! Thanks 🙏🏼😊
Hi! Thanks Flo for a very well thought out and useful video. Just one piece of advice for beginners: if possible use a wall where there are no pieces of furniture near by. The cabinet next to Flo's mat would be a great place to hurt yourself if you fell...
yes absolutely. we assumed this as common sense but some people might need to hear this specifically 🙏
Wow this video is priceless!
Thank you!
Cool tutorial
Thx a lot 😊
love love love love love
Hello lovelies! Thanks so much for posting this.My housemate Julia and I have been doing your yoga practices all through lockdown and we are hooked! Fantastic! Also, just to let you know we sent an email about 3 weeks ago via your website. Hope to hear back when you get a moment. Totally understand you must be pretty busy at mo. Much love. Keep moving, keep breathing, keep flowing. We are super grateful for you both xxx
we will get back to you very soon. july was a busy month in terms of self-care and we're just now catching back up with everything 🙏
@@BreatheAndFlow Ah thank you for letting me know.No rush. Glad to hear you are giving yourselves plenty of self care. So essential.Big love from us all here in Brighton UK x
Thanks!!
Thank you so much for this video, I had been trying to build up strength by doing the wrong kind of hand stand against the wall (bananas!) It makes so much sense, getting used to falling first. :)
You make it look so easy. I just tried and fall miserably and I hurt my head 😅
You're an awesome instructor 🕉
how do you hurt your head? did you collapse and bend your arms? if so you should not be handstanding and work up the strength first. keep up the practice, stay safe! i make it look easy because i practice this for 1h daily for years already.
Exactly what he said!! He JUST went over all the things to do before you just try to do a hand stand and end up hurting yourself...
Thank you 🙏🏿... also I feel very attacked by the title of the video lol 🤣
I feel that I'm not ready yet but it's so fun when you can do it in the wall yaaayy 😎😂❤️
Most awaited video
the full 20 video handstand program has already been up on patreon for several months...!! 🙏
@@BreatheAndFlow yes, will check for sure
Great video,,, will definitely enroll in patreon

Hip flex is apart of the deep dive down to the floor twist your elbows into your knee and bring around bout*

Hey I was told that without excellent shoulder mobility (my shoulders are pretty tight despite constant work on them) it's not possible to get a handstand. Thoughts? Thank you for this and the tutorial! Xx
Love from india sir

How many times such yoga to be trained?
Hi Flo, hi Bree. Thanks a lot for the video, very helpfull. Just a question tho, you didn't talk about the "spider hands / fingers" but it seems to be a basic for handstand. What's your opinion about it? Thanks for all the content anyway. I'm seriously considering your Patreon to improve my yoga/handstand/way of life. You guys are very inspiring. With love and gratitude. Namaste.
We talked about it. Flo said your fingers are your breaks and so you will have to press your fingertips into the ground. For some people by doing this the hands go into what you call spider hands, for some people not. There are different philosophies on how much gripping you should be doing with your fingertips in a handstand but this is a more advanced technique. For now remember your fingers are your breaks so just like when you stand and lean forward and your toes grip, your finger will grip while upside down. If you join patreon, thanks for the cup of coffee for both of us 🙏
Breathe and Flow Thank you very much. I did not understand it this way but yes, you said so. Going to work on HS now.
I did not find the handstand program on Patreon.... Please help flow 🙏

@@BreatheAndFlow Indeed you're right! Thanks, but since I signed it with google i cannot access these videos. I don't know why and when I try to sign it, they don't recognize my email... I am a bit lost.
Wow. Flo looks super handsome. That haircut suits him. What a tan, too.
what tan? must be the color grading haha
@@BreatheAndFlow Really? No tan? You look tanned!
I feel so afraid to rise up my legs and lean them against the wall. With the help of my brother I managed to do it but alone I can't -.- However I could manage to do the second pose: to raise the legs reclining them agains the wall. Any advice to overcome my fear? :D
this is why we practice handstand. to believe in yourself. keep practicing with a spotter. it's all in your head.
What if I have hyper-extended arms(elbows)?
keep a slight bent. once you're aware of it and drill it is becomes second nature, but this takes a while. sorry for you it's a bit more effort than for someone that doesn't hyperextend but that should not be an excuse. keep it up!! ✌️
G R A T I T U D E
Sometimes I found the balance for secs and then lost it... I've been practising for 4 weeks now...
keep it up! 🙏

Slow to get to key points, and not many steps
