LETS GOOOOO. Definitely need to back this now more then ever
Thanks a lot for featuring Runa! It was really nice to hear your inputs, super appreciated that you covered our game :D
PS: watching you react to the OST was really cool!
You're very welcome, and well deserved!
Instant wishlist on Steam. Can't wait for more updates, and for the game to be released. All the best!
Thankyou Runa Team. I have high expectations and hope in your great success. Already a Runa fan!
I can't afford to back on Kickstarter, but I wishlisted on Steam and I'll try to keep an eye out
Game looks amazing. I hope this comes to PS5 and Switch 2 and gets a full physical release with content on cart/disc. Now shut up and take my money. ;)
I backed it and intend to memorialize my late-mother. I've always loved games like this, and nothing would mean more to me than giving her a fantasy legend deserving of her.
Proud and happy to colaborate. This looks really promising and original. Wothering waves looks amazing, but my like goes more to this turn based RPG. Xenoblade + Persona + base building (Eiyuden Chronicles) This is going to blow the market. Keep it up. Like and subscribe!
As of now, it has over $41000 of the $47751 needed on Kickstarter. Pretty impressive. I think I'll back it.
Runa looks very promising so far. Glad to see the Kickstarter doing well. Thanks for sharing.
I don't do Kickstarter, but wish them all the best
This is the first game I've backed since A Hat in Time and Banner Saga, but I share in your stance!
I like that the clip playing on the site shows the character running through the world. I watched the trailer and noticed none of the footage seemed to show your character walking around the world and found it a bit odd.
The stuff on the site was taken from the trailer, so I'm not sure which parts you mean?
@BacklogBattle weird! The part where it was just the back shot of the character walking forward and cutting to different environments. Maybe I didn't watch the trailer as closely but I just noticed a lot of sweeping shots if locations and then characters in locations but not walking around. Some where they seemed to be put exploring but not actually showing the character move around the environment.
@@fullmetalb5241 To be fair, the cuts were quite fast! I honestly want more, but I know it's just a teaser! I've actually seen the trailer a few times now, so I have the advantage of being familiar with it lol!
I wish money wasnt so strapped on my end. This game looks beautiful and fun. Hopefully they can hit their goal! ❤❤
Oooh, this looks great. I’m not able to hit the kickstarter right now but maybe a bit down the line. I definitely look forward to playing in the future.
This looks too good to pass up. Looks like I have another project to back. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
It would be so great to eventually see this game on Nintendo Switch, I'm excited that that seems to be a prospect!
This actually looks so freaking cool! Definitely keeping an eye on this one
definitely will back once i get the money for sure
Loving the look of this game, it could have big potential depending on how well its backed up on Kickstarter. Hoping for the best!
WIll back this game for sure looks really interesting.
Goal reached already! This looks so good and promising. Really glad to hear it will probably come to consoles too. I think I will be a backer on this as I want to find as many good rpgs as I can. Nice one for sharing about Runa.
😱 the box art reminds me of the A.D.V. -VHS tapes of anime I used to buy!!! Like Burn Up -W comes to mind 😅
Already backed it! I really hope this gets some MAJOR traction and sees release asap!
Kickstarter says November 2026. So probably some time in 2027.
I'm hoping to see a roadmap!
Yo been following since I randomly seen them on Twitter a year or so ago lol loved the art and knew it would just hit
Just backed it, thanks for your recommendation.
You’re welcome!
Looks interesting i need to see more before i back it. I hope it pans out i like a lot of the ideas here
I just backed. I really hope it gets to voice acting stretch goal.
I'd love to see it get to that point!
This game looks amazing!!!
It's pretty incredible!
Looks nice and will keep an eye on it in case they confirm console versions but don’t play games on PC so won’t back yet
Hope they do well though
They did
Will definitely be backing
Yes!
Huge fan of both Persona and Xenoblade. This looks really good so far. I won’t be backing it myself as I don’t do gaming on pc anymore. Best of luck to it and the devs and will be anxiously awaiting official confirmation of console versions. I hope we can get this on the Switch successor as it’s bound to be on the market by the time this is ready for release
It’s confirmed! It’s not part of any stretch goal
I backed them with the 45 euro tier. The game looks really good, I just hope they tighten up the battle animations - in a JRPG like this they *need* to look good and stylish
They still have two years to finish things, so it’s probably just early animations
I backed the digital copy of the game but once I see that physical copy (cause I'm sure that they will reach that goal) I will be backing that as well.
Just refreshed and it's over $80k
This looks good... Maybe too good? I really like what I'm seeing, but I feel like this is way too ambitious for such a small team, so I think I'll wait for now.
I would support it on kickstarter if we had confirmation it was coming to consoles physically. Normally getting a physical version of the game is one of the options for supporting on kickstarter, but not for this one. Since I'm a 100% console gamer, that's kinda a deal breaker. Physical isn't a deal breaker, but I'm a physical collector so it doesn't help that it doesn't have that option either.
I posted this as a question on their Discord. We’ll see if they answer!
Their response:
Noted the interest and there could be a kind of collector's edition coming later on with physical goodies, but it's not something that would be available in the near future.
We even discussed this with a company focused on this kind of editions, but we had to put it on hold for the moment. A physical artbook would be included there, but as I mentioned, I can't really confirm this coming at the moment
@@BacklogBattle Thank you so much for reporting back! I'll probably just have to keep an eye on it and buy it if we do get a physical console version later.
Unfortunately i swore off backing things since the first thing i ever backed on kickstarter in 2014 still hasnt released to this day and my $50 is still gone 😅.
That said if it releases i would love to give it a try at retail.
Love the character designs the world and environments look amazing and the game itself is very appealing to this pirate❤ unfortunately I don’t own a PC or a steam deck and will probably not be getting ether because I don’t believe in the hole digital none ownership of games😈
I fully comprehend and respect those who like and are comfortable with digital gaming, me however I don’t like or trust the gaming industry and the digital future we are being pushed into. Physical gaming will always be this pirates go to regardless of my interest in other games. ( and while to do activity play a few online digital only games myself, I’m fully aware that I could lose access to them at any time)
If Runa had the possibility of a console version? Then I’d be more then happy to back this game❤ now I’ll probably pass despite my overall genuine internet of the game, though I might back it just because I love the music and the games overall mechanics and world view❤❤❤
I can't back it because Kickstarter doesn't take prepaid cards, i don't have a credit card 😢 but will keep an eye out for this one 😊
There is no way they can make this game for what they're asking in the Kickstarter. It is far too good to be true. I would be incredibly apprehensive of this game.
A lot of studios these days don't fund the whole game on kickstarter money. They use it as marketing, to gauge public interest or as a stepping stone to convince publishers. Agree that 47k is chump change for a game like this. Probably funds development for like a couple of months.
I've been burned in the past with other titles, but I will keep an eye out.
Totally understandable! I’ve only backed two before this, so I’m hoping this will be great!
👍🏾👍🏾💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Everything looks really good, but the main campaign will be the make or break of it. An RPG can have amazing features and gameplay and fall very flat on...well...the main thing that pushes you through that world. They're invoking the names of some powerhouse rpgs in that department without really giving a hint of it yet and I hope their inspirations go beyond social links and huge world.
The only bad thing about this project is that we have to wait until the end of 2026 to play the game.
That’s crowdfunding for you
What is Runa???
Looks super generic to me. Ill keep an eye on it but I am super picky about crowd funding.
I've only backed two games, which are Banner Saga and A Hat in Time. This is the first game I've backed since.
@@BacklogBattle Ayo I backed A Hat in Time too!
I also backed Skullgirls. Haven't backed anything since, either.
idk i don't trust so low goals like 50k, it's 1mo of 5 devs work, basically nothing. They alraedy founded or making last cash grab hope for multiple stretch goals
I can see that working for some people, and I understand a cause for concern. That doesn't stop me from hoping for the best though, and I wish them success in this round of funding.
@@BacklogBattle hope they lunch early acess, will be more secure way to found (see too many KS project with low goal just to take ppl money and disapear, making it higher boost confidence they know how much they need, and won't take money if goal won't be meet)
@MrValgard it's like you didn't watch my video! I talked about Early Access being a thing
@@BacklogBattle yeah that why i refere to it! hope they manage to sustain until EA
Ngl this looks pretty much exactly like that unity made French jrpg that came out a couple years ago. The sole difference is this is regular turn based not hexagon movement turn based and it's anime. I wish them luck but this looks very generic.
I'm not aware of that one, so to me this is all new. I've also only backed two games, which are Banner Saga and A Hat in Time. This is the first game I've backed since.
The game looks a bit too ambitious imo. Instead of doing a big open world, they should've hired more experienced animators and tech specialists. The game looks like they don't know how to optimize and code the engine so it looks like it runs in 720p and is smeared with vaseline. Also, the game mostly looks beautiful in the promo, but the animations are plain bad. I'd rather have way fewer polygons, but smoother animations and more weighty movements.
I get that it’s easy to be pessimistic about this game because we gotta be wise with where we invest our money. Heck, that’s why I only backed two games on Kickstarter. And again, I understand that many games on that platform just don’t get made.
But I’m hedging my bets on this one being one of those that gets made. And while backing something can cost us money, it doesn’t cost us anything to wish a game who’s got people excited much success in its journey.
What consoles is it going to be on
PC first, then all consoles afterwards
