Another reason why I want one of these saddles! These people really get it. I have used two latigos for years for that exact reason. Also because sometimes when you first go to cinch up a horse, it’s really hard to get the wraps done and get a good grip on the end of the near side latigo. So before I even start I let out the off side latigo a few holes. Makes it do much easier to cinch up.

The video doesn't show how to tie up the right side using a latigo where you would normally use a billet. Can you explain how it will hold the cinch? Thank you

So what about the tongue from the buckle? All these western girls have that tongue and if you do it this way you don’t need it to put it in the hole so it just hangs there. It seems dangerous to have a piece of metal sticking out like that.
