Thanks Chuck! Excellent video. This is probably the 10th video I watched and the most informed. None of the other ones talked about both sides of the saddle. Only how to do the one side, so I wasn’t sure if I should hook it up the same way. I feel confident about trying it now. Thank for for making this video!

Good presentation. I have a saddle that works best with that type rigging but I moved the strap to the rear ring so the big knot ends up there instead of under the fender. I think it works a lot better that way. I see in a previous comment someone else also does it that way.
That's great how you do it but my saddle came with the tie strap hooked to the back ring. Run everything the same as you do it but it finishes with the tie on the back ring, away from your leg.

Can you show how to do the other side?
Can this be done with an inskirt slot at the rear of the saddle instead of a ring?
What about a buck strap?
