This is a 2019 ram 1500 with a 3.6L v6 and a 8 speed transmission. It has 3,000 pounds of limestone In the bed and 3,000 pounds of limestone in the trailer
That's awesome, as a dodge owner myself I try no to put too much stress on the transmission because ever since the mid 80s their transmissions have been shit
I've never owned a half ton but I would expect a little bit more out of my rear end for such an expensive truck. I suppose they go for ride quality though
What is bad about this is it will screw up his control of the truck. With that much load he will not be able to stop quickly. Plus that trailer may just start to sway and put him rubber side up. The tranny and axle are the least of his potential problems.
May wanna put wood where the tailgate is to keep the gravel from falling out
Did that the second time because some did spill out
Well there goes that transmission
It handled it fine
I put 3k in the bed of my 2017 ram and nothing went wrong

@@RamandChevyOwner that’s what this is, 1 yard of limestone in bed and one yard in trailer and 1 yard is around 3,000 pounds
@@justinheardG95 😂 new ones 8k for a 2018 2500 HD. Trust me
I'm sorry

I have no doubt that the truck can handle that all day I was purely talking about the amount of squat from such a small load
@@billysechrist2959 yea it handles it fine but it is over payload by about 750 pounds
