- What To Do With Faded Clothes | 5 Easy Tips You Can Do At Home
It can be really frustrating to see your colorful clothes fade as soon as you wash them. There are a few different ways you can protect the color of your garments. If you have clothes that faded after just a few washes, it may be because of detergent buildup. Powdered laundry detergent may remain on the clothes than liquid detergent.

Hi thanks for the tips. How do I dye my sun faded nylon fabric that has floral patterns on it? So my fabric is green and it has colorful floral prints on it. The green has faded to a yellow or light green color. I would appreciate any advice.
Hi Arpita, thank you for all the tips. I am definitely trying them with my clothes. I am curious where can we buy the dyes to redye clothes? Or are there small shops that do this? Please do make a video on how to redye clothes.
Do I need to rinse out salty water after soaking cloth in it or just let it be directly dry after taking out of salty water?
So my faded Tshirts are about to have 4 extra washes in a couple of days. Can we use salt AND vinegar to save a wash!?
Can you please do a video on how to dye clothing?
There are those tissues you can buy in store that bring a bit of color back in your clothes but honestly those look blue and couldn't possible restore all colors. I wish something existed where they made tissues with a specific color in them so it gently dyes the clothes. I don't like actually dying clothes, the color is usually off.
DOES LAUNDRY DETERGENTS THAT CONTAIN WHITNERS, AND BRIGHTNERS, RESTORE COLOR, TO OTHERWISE FADED CLOTHING..?
Thanks...
Beautiful lady 😍 Thank you.
With hot water or cold water?
Baking soda detergent together for dark clothes
Very useful tips Arpitha!! I used to try soaking new cotton wears in salt + cold water for an hour and then wash it normally with liquid detergent for the next wash.
I'm happy to know that the video is helpful ☺️ soaking in salt is simple and easy method. Try other methods too.
How long do you soak in salt?

can i add detergent, salt and vinegar together in machine
Hi, I have one black cotton jacket and i have been only dry cleaning it but some how it has become faded, pls suggest how to restore it. thanks
You can get it redoes into black colour. Look for a fabric dying unit in your place. Show them the jacket they will suggest how they can help you. You don't need to fry clean a jacket regularly. Jackets are worn on top of clothes so they don't get soiled so fast. You can keep them for air drying and put them back. This might help you 😊
Thanks i did that only and it looks like new
Mam, do I have to add detergent and salt together?
Yes. You can add both together.
If you're washing one garment, do u reduce the salt & vinegar dosage?
Oh yes. when it is one garment I will use a bucket to wash it and use way less than I use for a load of wash in the machine. I know the quantity by trying it out once or twice.
@@daleblackwood6064 if your garment is clean then try soaking it in salt instead of going through all the washing process. Results may not show in 1st wash.
@@arpitharai Thanks
i love it thank you
Fūkc it, I love u 🎴❤️🩹🫦👉🏻👈🏻
Can u turn the garment inside out? Before you put it into the washer? To prevent extra colour fading.
Yes. We can do that. That can be done while drying them too. Prevents fading.
If you wash clothes in washing machine with solt it will make the drum rusty
Detergent in my opinion fades your clothes. I use white vinegar only
Thanks ma'am
You are most welcome 😊
Vinegar the one we use for cooking mam?
White vinegar or Apple cider vinegar can be used. In my latest video I explained how to use them in washing. Here it is: czcams.com/video/ElQjpaM1-O8/video.html hope that helps 😊
What for the smell that is left after the vinegar wash?????
No smell comes
FADEDED can be so Deadly...
I agree. Prevention is better than cure. So we should dry the clothes that may fade in shade or take them out of drying immediately after they are dried.
NO COMPRENDE. BABUY!
