Im playing france rn and cannot complete the mision branch tree of "institute the bank of France" since I cannot complete the Franc Germinal. Cannot even force it with the console command cause im playing ironmad mode, please help, i dont find any information about it. Some people say its with chain missions regarding napoleon, followed each one and didnt triggered anything regardin this crazy franc
@@carlossanchez-ft2st let me see if I recorded that - I competed all France’s missions, although sometimes they branch out and can’t be reproduced.

yeah i was floored when i saw that, i have over 6000 hours and had no idea.....
In my recent France WC I was disappointed that they are now an end game tag, but surprised by the very strong permanent modifiers such as cultural conversion (time) and so on which make it an excellent pick or formable for a true one-tag one culture :)
Ahh, yep - I abandoned my Nevers to France run when I realised they’re an end-game tag. Took me a few weeks to accept this, lol.
I agree though, the modifiers are insane, especially those from the revolutionary part of the mission tree.
Well quite suprised it wasnt for this whole time, France IS one of the strongest nations overall anyways

France is pretty fun in this patch, I really like what they've done with the mission trees for the historical great powers in 1.35.
Completely agree. It was actually more fun than I expected - the WC wasn’t the usual grind.

@@StrategySphere theres plenty of courntries i enjoy, you already done Gotland and Nevers! if you are looking for ideas i suppose Burgundy, Hungary and the papal states.
in particular i know that theocracies are quite bad for WC so i'm curious how you would do it, what Gov reforms and what things to focus on also especially since the papal states cannot form other countries. For Example i imagine for the papal states its important to get Paris/Avignon/milano and potentially Hagia sophia and Prague's great project up to max to maximize the Yearly papal influence to permenantly stay as curia controller but not sure its worthwhile and something i found out recently is that if you vassalize provence, they get free cores on naples as part of their mission which can make unifying italy a ton cheaper AE wise.
Added Burgundy and the Papal States to my list, thanks. Will consider Hungary too one day!

Currently doing my WC, One faith, One tag run as Najd to Mughals.
My goal is a list of achievements such as: jihad, one faith, true heir of timur, sweet home caracorum, caliphate.
Maybe it will be good idea for your next videos.

Hi StrategySphere, I really enjoy your videos from narrative and directive perspective, but I have one major issue that I wanted to point out. The issue resolves around your microphone or maybe changing tones of your voice. I listen to one part and then you tone changes in a way I take notice or maybe your microphone detects and registers differently it. I know its minor issue, but still wanted to point it out, because it feels out of place. Once again, thanks for all materials, I find them really enjoyable.

do you think that the shogunate ryuku wc strategy is okay instead of the horde wc, i jsut dont like playing hordes and would like that achievement!!
Yep, personally I think the Shogunate strategy is powerful. I also avoid playing hordes, couldn’t quite get the hang of it.

23:23 there is a way to not culture convert those german cultures, you can vassalize some electors that u just allied, like mainz trier cologne and the palatine, and then conquer their primary culture and then do that with other germanic culture groups
Yep, you’re right - the conditions require “primary culture” so vassals / PUs would work.
That’s one of the reasons I was obsessing so much over the Brandenburg PU (spoiler for Part 2 - I didn’t get it…) 😅
Probence get a mission that gives them cores on Naples, I feel that you should have taken advantage of that

Absolutely, Espionage is one of my favorite idea groups for the early game. Would’ve helped a lot with all that aggressive expansion!

i was never able to do world conquest.
i get pretty good starts though but it lose focus in 1600's and dont expand fast enough
This makes sense. For me, the 1600-1700 is the most difficult century in a world conquest. So many priorities to go after, and it frequently feels like I’m falling behind.
Can you do a Byzantium World Conquest now that 1.36 is out?

Hey, great videos!! Im currently doing a russia run, helping myself with you video! I have a question about personal unions, what do you do with them? In my last run as france i had spain, naples, milan and a few others but i had no idea what to do, i couldn’t integrate them (it lasted 100 years for spain) and it never got inherited when my ruler died because they were too big, so i just canceled subject and killed them 5 years later… what is your method?
Well you can keep them till the end of the game if you wish, they count as part of your country for many achievements.
Or you can integrate (annex) them 50 years after they become your subject.
You would automatically inherit only much smaller countries, usually, like Milan.

Will see… I was making these videos when I was unemployed, but now that I found a job it’s a bit difficult.
No reason not to nocb byz and fight england at the same time, and if you can ally burgundy before maine fires, and austria rivals savoy you can usually feed it to burgundy and provence when they get excommed aswell. Also, if maine war happens, taking back cores is a huge mistake - it's a waste of about 30 AE over taking the trade centers on the isles since defensive war.
Also a valid approach, for sure - if Burgundy doesn't rival you (as they did me).
Each time, in my differents games who involves war against Byz and waiting for the Ottos to attack them and drag me to a defensive war, they never attack Byz. I tried multiple times but they just don't and attack bunches of other countries :'(
Ahh, that’s so random we can’t predict. In my four recent games they attacked Byzantium during my war twice, and twice did not.
@@StrategySphere i figured other way. Vassalize Byz, wait for Otto to attack other countries in anatolia and then declare on them. With Aragon i managed to blockade Marmara sea and take all lands in Balkans. Finally crushed them entirely by letting them pass one army at a time to take Gelibolu. 0 troops and 0 manpower. Bye Otto

Why didn't you use core of Provence from their missions to conquer Naples?
Simply because Spain got Naples really fast. I chose to stay friendly with them. But it’s a good idea to get lot of rich land 👍

Is it just me or is No CB Byzantium a must in almost every wc with a country in Europe. Which countries do you think shouldnt do a no CB Byzantium at the start? Even in your Gotland campaign you no CB Byzantium. Is there any country in Europe you wouldnt do a no CB Byzantium?
Hi! You’re totally right, the Byzantium opening makes the WC much more efficient.
I did manage a few WCs without it, though - I’d say opening with it for Burgundy would be a mistake as you’d need to prioritize France.
I also did a Saluzzo WC where I didn’t do this.
