      Pro-Graphx out of Ohio. You can look them up on Facebook or Instagram. The lady who owns it is Elizabeth Harper. They cost around $300

    Hey so im rather new to quads, i know all parts but ive never understood why are the front shocks used?? They dont have a spring, instead 2 gas chambers..? How do they work?

    • @TylerMcNabb137
      @TylerMcNabb137  Před 6 měsíci

      The compressed air inside the shock acts as the springs on the shock. It’s just a different type of suspension. They are used in bikes, motorcycles, trophy trucks, etc… The cool thing about them is you can change the air pressure very easily and you essentially have an infinite amount of spring combinations you can try, just by changing the air pressure.

      I run this quad at 13 in the front and 36 in the rear. It’s geared pretty low

    Where did you get your tires and rims at

    • @TylerMcNabb137

      I bought all my parts used off of Facebook marketplace but you can order the wheels and tires from any hiper or GBC dealer. The wheels are hiper tech 3 beadlocks and the tires are gbc xc master fronts and GBC ground buster III rears. The front shocks are fox floats that came off of a trx450 but you’d need long travel a-arms for those.

    What would it cost if you did this for a customer

    • @TylerMcNabb137
      @TylerMcNabb137  Před rokem

      While I’m not a shop or anything, most shops with good mechanics are gonna charge you $50-$60 an hour on labor rate. If I had to guess it would probably be a couple thousand in labor alone, plus all the parts cost.
