    • @MarkCuda
      @MarkCuda Před 7 měsíci +1

@@GoGoGadgetGiveadamn I won't obviously try and speak for MJ, nor do I believe it's my business to share his, but I CAN say this; Mark typically came into the office mid-morning, a huge smile on his face, ready to enjoy working with his crew. We had meetings, collaborations, brainstorms, debates, and more, and then we went our way. He didn't come in every single day, he worked on projects at home, in the office, wherever he felt right, and I can't think of a single time I ever saw him scrolling social media.
In fact, he is so NOT active on social overall, that I was shocked he did this interview, the first (to my knowledge) of this kind he's ever done.
he's focused on his family, his legacy, his friends, and his mission.
He is no saint, (none of us are), but boy is he an inspiration to me, and has been for many years. I became a TRUE entrepreneur thanks to him, no doubt.
      Hope this is helpful.

My question to you, GoGoGadget, is how much do YOU get distracted by social media?
Do you feel it helps you reach your goals or are you wasting too much precious time on it?
Recently I realized I have too many ADD tendencies and so I’m looking for tools to manage it.
For example when focusing on an important task I silence my phone and leave it out of sight.
I’m not quitting social media but limit it to smaller break times during the day.
I don’t let it impinge upon my work hours.
We must learn to control technology or else it can distract us so much that we keep spinning our wheels and never reach our goals.

The interviewer doesn't listen well, nor does he pick up on the most interesting cues and insights from his guest. He reads his questions from notes but not out of listening to what his guest shared right there. Just too often. Like when the guy shared his lowest point about his best friend running off with their money, he showed no empathy, no comment on such a significant experience, and just jumped onto his next point. In being uninteractive and inattentive, he doesn't make the most of the guest and the experience for his audience. He needs to become a better host and interviewer.

With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly-which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stocck portfolio.

What a great guy. I relate to what he said about the regret of not spending more time with his mom towards the end of her life. If I could do things over, I’d have spent much more time with my dad, but I knew he didn’t want to fight to live and I felt hurt and not worth living for. I didn’t handle loss well and knew he was going to die, so started pulling away in order to protect myself. I didn’t want to absolutely fall apart after he was gone. I had to have strength to continue on with my life. But years later, looking back, I wish I would’ve reprioritized my life and planned a way to step away from things in order to care for him and fall apart/heal from the loss in a financially controlled way. Honestly, I know now that I would’ve been able to swing it financially, I just didn’t see how it was possible then. And I didn’t want to become both fatherless and homeless whilst being severely depressed. I pray often that he and the Most High forgive me. I blew it big time. I was such a mess during that time though. Was going through my own trauma during that time.

      I’m sorry for your loss.🌸
It’s really hard to know how to handle these end of life issues -
Especially when we have stuff we are trying to deal with in our own lives.
I’m sure your Father now understands what you were up against and he definitely still loves you, anyway.
And God knows our heart as well as our struggles.
I hope you can give yourself a break because feeling regret does you no good.
All we can do is learn the lesson and try better when a difficult challenge comes our way in the future.
Depression is a b*tch and only people who have gone through it truly understand how impossible it can be just to get through the day sometimes.
      God bless you. 💕
