The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. Carol Vivian Constable is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..

Opportunity: Start where you’re interested and/or be an early arriver to a marketplace. You like animals so it may make sense to work for an entrepreneur in that space.
For Manny in real estate - buy at a discount. (it takes time to find a great deal but make sure the math is easy - a 4th grader should be able know it’s a great deal)
Salesperson: When you’re passionate or hungry this will come natural. There’s resources to learn online. I would recommend solution selling.
Operator:
This is more or less being organized, process driven and the ability to multitask. Start by operating your day like a business. Track everything you do, how much time it takes and all your money in and out.
Run your life like a business first.
Most importantly do not be scared to live your life.

This guy has a similar story to my old boss. Same war, he was 14. His dad loaded him up a bookbag, gave him some cash and he walked from Iran into Turkey by himself. From there he made it to Spain and then, canada. By the time he walked across the US border he had been traveling a year. He ate canned dog food for a year in the US, thinking it was just cheap canned meat. Dog food didnt exist in Iran. Story just keeps going, but he does very well for himself now.
From rags to riches, I have the upmost respect for that man God bless him and his family
Key lessons
- Find the opportunity and take actions (just do it)
- Becoming good at sales
- Learn to operate businesses
- Never give up even when you fail, just Pivot, be willing to learn the next thing (i.e the next opportunity to make money)
- America was built on credit & importance of Credit
- Have the hunger of an immigrant who has nothing and doesnt speak the langauge well
-Be patient (delayed gratitude)
- it is a numbers game finding the deal in Real Estate
- Recession creates opportunities

My Brother was a Manager at that Winston tire company store Manny worked at, down in the valley. I sent him this video and he couldn't believe it. He remembers him, because a family friend went to the Tahran american school in Iran and he talked about going to school in Iran. My Brother said he is very happy for him and that he was a very respectful and a nice young man. Thats Awesome.
He reminds me so much of my brother, who we sadly lost in a car accident. It's startling how much they look alike, not just in looks but in their demeanor too. My brother was an incredible entrepreneur, full of success and drive. Seeing him brings back a flood of warm, cherished memories.

I'm listening to his childhood and thinking, many would call his childhood an abusive or neglectful one, even though his father did an extremely brave thing getting his family out. Stories like this usually make the right kind of people successful. We all need a few trials every now and then.
We have people who are successful who didn't have wealthy childhood but they respect their parents for their struggles and then people seem to label that as abusive childhood, it's bizarre. Andrew Tate referred to this kind of negative attitude as ungrateful, disrespectful etc. I admire parents who put effort into parenting and did the best they could rather than being a relaxed parent where the schools and society takes them into depression and loss.
I'm beginning to think adversity is an essential ingredient of success. It gives you the incentive.
Everything about Manny is SO opulent, yet his spirit seems filled to the brim with gratefulness and generosity. A true self-made man...and a true inspiration.

If you watch a cat video you will probably see lots of cats, if you watch a documentary about food, food will probably be the center of the content... and if you watch a video about making a fortune, probably business and money will be the center of what's presented.

This was brilliantly put together. Been following your videos for a while. I like that he was humble enough to talk about the hard times that made him. I can tell you that being broke robs you of your peace of mind. I decided to get off my feet and get help. That was the turning point in my finance.
That’s one of my greatest fears you know. I just try to work hard enough but looking for ways to diversify my income. How were you able to come out of the situation?
Well, I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $30k spread across stocks index funds, and ETFs, for the long term. I've been investing with help from a pro fund manager, Herman W Jonas who oversees my investments. Now I sit back and reap my dividends while I just reinvest from time to time.
@@Alternatezoid Well, that's your view. In my experience, there is no such formula, It is nearly impossible to achieve success with investing. It’s all just gambling.
I'm an old dog and I'm not big on learning new tricks. After so many years of trial and error, I finally found what works best for me, both financially and emotionally.... and Herman is the perfect sounding board for me. He is far and away the best I have come across. He is all focused on teaching and making sure that I make profit. What more could I ask for?

You can do amazingly alone since you have no one to count for or distract you from your gols. Make a gol and don’t listen to noises. Don’t ever give up! God is king and you are his son/daughter so you are his princess/prince and the king wants his children to act like one, live like one, and lead like one. Focus on the big picture and make your father the king proud! 😊 He gave you all the tools it’s inside of you, so use it for good and great!

it’s hard to nail down specific predictions for the housing market is because it’s not yet clear how quickly or how much the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation and borrowing costs without tanking buyer demand for everything from homes to cars.
A lot of folks have been going on about the bull rally and said stocks that would be experiencing significant growth, any idea which stocks this may be? I just sold my home in the Boca Grande area and I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market before stocks rebound, is this a good time to buy or no?
Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of a planner, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.

He mentioned coming from a tough life gave him the determination to succeed. This seems to be a common trend. My father came from a very poor family they had no indoor bathroom and used a outhouse but never could afford toilet paper so they would wad up news papers unfold and do it again until soft enough to use. They only had a galvanized metal tub out in the yard to bathe in. They would boil water when they needed it warm. They raised pigs and had chickens to produce eggs. They mostly survived from barter. Anyway when my father was old enough he moved to a big town and went to the unemployment office who helped him get a job at a natural gas company. The gas company was very good paying and sent him to several schools to learn things. He was taught how to repair natural gas air conditioners mostly only businesses use these now I believe but at one time some homes actually had them. He took this knowledge and started buying old broken ac window units. He ran ads in the paper to buy. He would then repair them often using parts from another broken unit and sometimes brand new parts. He always offered a 90day warranty and sold these units on the weekends when off work. He was very tight with his money to the point my mom left him over it. I imagine it was from childhood. Anyway I knew he was doing ok cause I had seen he never ever used or considered using credit. When he bought his first home and first new car. I never knew he was wealthy until he passed away with a brand new custom built home he had paid cash for and two new cars paid in cash for him and the wife. When he passed he had over 2 million in the stock markets! The moral of the story is you absolutely can become rich working for someone else if you do it right but seems coming from poverty gives the edge to ones determination. One thing my father took pride in the very few do today is helping others. He was always negotiable on these ac units and he had even been known to give one away when realizing how much someone was struggling. He said God would reward him in other ways. He was already less expensive than the competition. He only had one warranty claim after 20yrs of this. He often would repair them out of warranty simply to help the person. Sure having your own business xan be rewarding however its not the only way to become wealthy.

He is not a Billionaire not even close I would say around $150 over his career is more like it maybe $200 now but he is not even close to a billionaire most of the real estate he has around here he is selling for not much more than what he paid for it not counting his carrying cost from his syndicated investors.

More than his drive and willingness to work hard, I admire Manny's resilience and ability to persevere during the difficult times of his life journey.
I knew I was drawn to this guy. He’s definitely blessed and went through struggle/rock bottom. He has drive. I was born in Malaysia, raised in Cali. Santa Ana , I’ve felt like I met him one day in Irvine. Perhaps I’ve bumped into him before. Man would love to just spend a day with him and bring a notebook, take some notes and chat it up. I work I.T but feeling like Sales is my tea and know the system more.

Even though Manny looks and sounds cocky (he deserved to feel that way) he's just appreciating his life now as he literally experienced war, bigotry, homelessness, and failures after failures, with strong determination and wisdom he fought through it. Most importantly, he did not shy away from telling it all and did not sugarcoat his success. If anybody wishing they could be him, prepare to walk the miles he been gone through.
I find him to be grace and humble.
This is rooted in honesty. His confidence doesn't come off as arrogance cuz he's honest about his path
