As a kid, the aesthetics of low budget films like these always made me feel a bit unsettled. Their story and motives often doesn't make much sense either, so you were always left a little confused or unsatisfied in the end.
HedvigU dude same. Always gave me the weirdest fucking vibe. The only low budget CGI that didn't creep my out and i still love to this day are barbie movies like barbie Rapunzel an stuff

I understand why people don't like his content because his voice inflections can be annoying and making generic top 10 lists is somewhat uncreative. But jeez, some people are really rude about it and it kind of ticks me off because he's one of the nicest CZcamsrs I've ever come across, and he tries not to make people hate him by always stating that it's just his silly personal opinion.

The designs are really similar, the animation is crap
The story loosely follows the books and movies but it's still crap but it doesn't really follow them, the books are actually good and leads up to Hiccup being crowned as king of the Wilderwest with no s*** we saw in that video segment, the books are interesting and different, the movies are about Hiccup and Toothless not two human friends on a quest for fame and using dragons to fight for fun, it's pretty much 'Stryke out' (the rtte episode) but poorly animated and the dragon fights are legal and respected. It pretty much goes against everything Hiccup stands for so you couldn't really say it's a rip-off but the creators saw the movie made very similar characters and changed the story so much and strangely that it's still considered a rip-off, I haven't watched it but based on the descriptions it's pretty much gladiator fights (but nobody dies because PG rating) and two nobodies looking for fame by enslaving a creature to fight in the arena.

Alot of the CGI animation looks like unfinished still in development CGI that you see in deleted scenes on Pixar DVD bonus features. It looks choppy and unfinished.
That because in the deleted scenes, the CGI wasn't finished, quite obvious.

While Antz and Bug life take place in a colony they both have different plot. Bug life: the ants were being bullied by the grasshoppers, and it took one ant (Flick) to point out the real peckkng order; Antz the Ant (Zee) wanted to live outside his role as a worker so he decided to switch role with his friend a solider ant. The only similarity to the movie is both male protagonist got the princess and became ruler of their own coloney.
Finding and Nemo vs Shark tale... Do i really got to break down how in pixar they was looking for one fish in a ocean of billion fishes; Sharktale was how a reef was being terrorized by a pack of mafia theme sharks. No similarity there.
Nemo was kidnap because he was trying to escape the overbearing smothering his father was doing because of the incident in how he law his wife.
Oscar Lied about killing a shark in order to gain fame and notoriety by his fellow peer.

My 3 all-time favorite Dreamworks films
1. Rise of the Guardians (the one with Chris Pine as the hot Jack Frost)
2. The Prince Of Egypt (I’m a Catholic btw)
3. How To Train Your Dragon (the first 2 movies and the series)
One thing they have in common is that they have a good story and hot looking male character voiced by awesome hot looking actors

Kung Fu Rabbit is not that bad, actually. It is definitely the best rip off I've ever seen. It's not a surprise that this guy hasn't shown much of it because the animation is pretty decent for a small studio and the story, despite being a ripoff, is not terrible.
I think that if I were to make a top best ripoff movies, Kung Fu Rabbit would've made my list.
Not don't forget That one rip off that's an animated panda movie I don't even know
I think the worst part about some of these mock busters is that some of them looked like they had real effort put into them. And for what, to rip off a more popular movie and get thrown to the side.

What's wrong with Mr. Enter? I don't watch him often but when I do I find his videos decent.
KentuckyWallChicken I'm not sure why people are calling him the next Mr. Enter as I find their style of videos very different. I think his videos are alright and are getting better. But people keep bringing up all sorts of things that make it seem like he's a bad person....
See, if I looked up the definition of "gentleman" in the dictionary, Josh's picture would be next to it. He's one of the kindest guys I've ever met and it irritates me for people to insult him so much. Obviously as a content creator he isn't perfect, but heck, what content creator is?! I agree that he's getting better and better. His video's structures are always a similar format I will say, but it's a good format.

For crying out loud what's with all the hate towards PhantomStrider? God forbid someone ACTUALLY teams up with someone else in the cartoon community. I think what's really wrong with the cartoon community is the fact that people don't really seem to want change for the better. This is how things get better. We should be teaming up with each other in the community, not singling out everyone who's content you don't like and complaining when they team up when they partner with someone you do like.
You don't have to like PhantomStrider. I can see why people don't like his content and that's okay. But why can't people at least try to be supportive? I may be in the minority here, but what I really want for the cartoon community to succeed is for people to at the very least respect each other even if you don't like someone's content......

I can see that, although I think PhantomStrider is significantly better than WatchMojo because he offers his own insight and doesn't necessarily just do lists for the sake of doing lists. At least what I think.
