As an MP, he is their voice in Westminster, they are rightly appalled by the British governments unequivocal support for Israel, so have chosen him to present their strong concerns. I believe he also addressed local issues in his campaign including grooming gangs, returning maternity services to the local hospital, securing the future of the local football club etc
