Kaven D Actually most current "music" is hardly that in the classical sense. There are very few groups and even fewer play an instrument. The music is synthetically produced. Autotune takes care of the hideous voices. The measure of musical talent is how they hold up accoustically and without background voice tracks. Very few can do it today. In the 80's it was commonplace .
I'm sorry, but you need to look up the true definition of the word "music" then come back and try to make that claim about at least 90% of today's music. As Val said, most music is synthetically produced. Many artists today can only sing what is put in front of them, and don't know how to even pluck out "twinkle-twinkle little star" on a kiddie piano on their own w/o someone pointing out the correct keys for them somehow (you know, how like almost every electric piano out there has the middle C scale actually put on the instrument so that anyone can know which key it is). Sorry, but "speaking to a rhythm" is NOT music. It is, at most, glorified rap - but in reality, it is nothing but reading a poem with musical notes played in the background.
I know....I can't stand how most of the kids called musicians today can't even make a proper rhyme, let alone play ANY sort of musical instrument. They have underwriters who NEVER get to be known in the spotlight because the one singing the song gets the recognition just for having a supposedly "good" voice. I'm just glad for the newer groups like R5 and Sabrina Carpenter - maybe, just MAYBE, this newest generation will start putting out some REAL music for us again!

Damn Debora cant belt out a tune !!
Great Band
Que Musicalidad!!!! Hermosa voz,hermosa canción!!!
She was the Best!!!! No one could put the lyrics down like her!!! And that beat, out of this world, the sax is rarely used in good dance music 🎶 these days, without it, it just wouldn't work!!!! Her voice, drums, and sax!!!!! Loved it then, love it today! 1/2022
What a great SAX performance( that’s why I love this song ) , the female vocalist has such a sultry voice / delivery...fantastic.
Song reminds me of my night clubbing days in Boston ,MA
What fun period in my life and yours!
Where did all that precious time / youth go???
I was 35 when I first heard this song. 35 years later it's still one of my favorites.
