Damn. What a band. I was in Manchester, New Hampshire and they were playing at the Casbah. I entered not caring much about it. I left having seen (and still to this day) one of the best concerts of my life. This is what matters in life.
Wow, serious flashback: late 1984 waiting for this brand to show up at Club Monterey. They were like two hours late and put on one of the best shows I ever saw at that venue. Debora was a great front woman.
We got stuck on the freeway driving down from San Francisco and someone had to hitchhike to get help. I’m glad you stayed for the show and you dug it! No cellphones, right?
