What i've always admired about THG is the fact that he has knowledge of so many NHL teams and pretty in-depth one. Such broad knowledge is rare to find among NHL CZcamsrs.
The combo of Bruiser Brodie and THG is the best duo I've heard talking NHL. Brodie asks good questions and THG's answers are very interesting as he really knows his stuff. Also, both men are very pleasant to listen to - seem like really good guys. Would be a good idea IMO to make this a regular feature during the NHL season - maybe once a month...?

I’m not a huge hockey fan (Columbus will do that to a guy) but Shannon might be the single most competent CZcams analyst of any sport.
Particularly for a guy without a formal broadcast or journalism background, he is remarkable. I enjoy his work.

Shannon changed how I view fans who enjoy the game. You dont have to have played (let alone at a high level) in order to garner an elite understanding of the how its played etc.
I also love how he promotes local street hockey too. Its just about the times we have together playing and enjoying this crazy game which obsseses so many of us.

The Ducks are currently building a 4 Billion Mixed-Use entertainment complex around the arena. So it is not surprising to see such a figure for the proposed Coyote facility. Besides the primary tenant of the Coyotes, the ownership is looking to be the premier entertainment venue in the Valley.

IIRC, Jeff Fisher while TN Titans head coach had once commented that he was proud that his team won the final game of the season, and not many teams could claim that.... (for if you make the playoffs and don't win the super bowl, you lose your last game... thus you have to be bad enough to miss the playoffs, but lucky enough to win at the end... So, I feel Shannon's pain for the Canucks to start winning while eliminated from the playoffs. lol.)

I also subscribe to THG and love his content. I feel that 32 teams are enough, not just in the NHL but also NFL and MLB. Divisions are balanced and I don't want to see expansion beyond 32. It's difficult enough now to win and there are fans who may never see their team(s) win the championship.

Shannon -- I'm quoting you on that! I don't think it's so crazy -- I think Celebrini could be the draw for Reinhart to sign with SJ in the offseason, 1 of 10 million other reasons over 7 years. Keep in mind that SJ has expressed interest in Reinhart in the recent past.

The NHL is good right now with 32 teams, no more expansion 8 teams in 4 divisions, if it isn't broke don't fix it

there is already 5 or 6 teams who go through 8, 10, even 12 yrs without making the playoffs - with expanding to 36 teams it will be more teams (8 - 10 teams) with 8 - 12 yrs of playoff futility. Who want's that as a fan of said team.
Man Shannon is a really good talking head.
Yzerman signed like 10 new guys this year, it could have easily backfired and sent them into another 2019 season, especially after losing two goalies. Replacing Nedeljkovic with Reimer seemed lateral if not backwards to me, but that hasn't come into play really. They've been really streaky so I don't know what to expect next year.

An NHL European Team or Division could work if the league wants it to work.
I don't buy the argument of "it's too far away." A flight from the eastern US to Europe can't be that much worse than a flight from Vancouver to Miami. The NHL and other sports already deal with long flights. The MLB already has games in Asia. It's not that big of a deal flying from North America to Western Europe.
