I would very much like it if you subscribed for my somewhat funny sports videos. - Sport
I still can't believe he wasn't given the ball on the 1-yard line...
Here's the play they should have called. Russ fakes a handoff to Lynch, who sneaks outside, where Wilson throws the pass to him. Either Lynch catches it or it's incomplete, stopping the clock. If incomplete, you say "fuck it" and hand off to him to either win it or lose it on the final play.
It was a revenge play against the Seahawks. We dropped that player and he went over to the New England Patriots.
Me too
NE had the worst goal line D in the league that year.
Mystery to me was that as someone said you could have run a bootleg using him as a decoy. Or you could have run a stretch play and let him pick his lane. Or you could just run it into the B gap and won the SB.
As a Seahawks fan I will never forgive Pete Carroll for making that dumbass play call
The Beastquake is still one of my favorite Seahawks moments to watch
One of my favorite athletes in general
I'm a 49ers fan and as everyone knows were not big fans of seahawks... But that was one of the most incredible moments ever.
As a saints fan it's not my favorite, but all jokes aside it's a legitimately legendary moment in modern sport that can't really be denied
I’m just here so I won’t get fined. One of the most legendary quotes of all time, it’s up there with; “ We choose to go to the moon not because it’s easy but because it is hard
"I'm just bout that action boss" still use it to this day 😂
Weird comp, but sure, love it.
Marshawn is a national treasure, I hope he's happy and safe!
There was not a more fun group of characters than that 2012-14 Seahawk team. Lynch is one of the oddest, funniest dudes out there, though I really hope he figures out how NOT to get behind the wheel after having a fun evening. Seriously, I don't get why he hasn't figured out how a limo service works.
Five, the only thing I have to say about this video:
DAM SON!
Dude just never stopped moving his legs, it was insane watching people try to tackle him.
I remember in 6th grade art class in early 2007, we had to draw a picture from a magazine and I chose a picture from ESPN The Magazine of Marshawn stiff arming someone from Oregon. Not sure where the drawing is now, but unforgettable.
Marshawn was so funny on his episode of "Murderville", and he was the only thing worth watching in the movie 'Bottoms'.
Can't believe we're now watching retrospective videos on Marshawn Lynch's career. Where did the years go? I'm old. Feels like Beast Mode was one of the last running backs that a true contender was built around except for Christian McCaffrey.
The most brutal running back the NFL has ever seen is named Earl Campbell.
That was literally my first thought. Also, Jim Brown. lol
Ahhh the Tyler rose I agree saw that nfl documentary on him he barley can walk now on his ranch
Fact
Its hard not to love Marshawn, that beast quake gave us fans hope for a brighter future and damnit he and the LOB gave it to us, I wish we didnt prioritize Russell Wilson😭😭 AND GAVE HIM THE DAMN BALL
Marshawn's one of my favorite RBs of all time. What a character. I guess he was pretty good at this football thing too.
Still remember how everyone was so mad that Seattle got to host this playoff game against the Saints because of their .500 or so record that year. Then that amazing run happened
That saints run was the greatest run I've ever seen. There's four points in the play where you think he's down but nope
The voice of Manscaped. Congrats on the gig!
2:16 you mean a cannon of an arm
9:18 yes the 1 play that haunts a saints fan
He was so much fun to watch as a Seahawks fan! Not a good role model, but man he’s one of the funniest guys out there!
My favorite NFL player of all time, thanks for making a video about him!
Seahawks had that Superbowl won!!! I was in shock watching that live that they didnt give Beast Mode the ball to score the touchdown...frozen on the couch in disbelief...made me think Pete Carroll got a call from Vegas or the Commissioner (I will not say his name. I wont!) saying not to win the game. Fighters throw fights all the time, why cant Pete?
its pretty hard not to like beastmode just an interesting person all around, truly living the american dream thats for sure
The American Dream is DILLIGAF?
earl campbell is the most brutal running back in nfl history.
Still cant believe the Packers could of got him and played with Rodgers, Cal St. Squad
Marshawn is still one of my favorite NFL players of all time.
Whenever you're feeling uninspired or having an awful day, watch the beast quake and/or the No-han. if neither make you smile, then you know you are officially dead inside.
been a min since ive been this early to a FivePoints video. Ive been a fan since the early days. One of the best NFL youtubers out there. Love ya man
Thank you for great content
6:55 “yeah I think we all were” yeah…including the Pats defense. Which is why it was a good call by Carroll to not give it to Lynch, but the play just got blown up by Butler
He literally fumbled the ball on the one yard line, in those same playoffs anyway
The second most brutal running back ever you gotta have killer talent to top #1
As a Seahawks fan from the jump, Marshawn Lynch was a joy to watch. One hell of an athlete but he seemed to play with a joy I haven't seen in most athletes.
F---ing love Beast mode.
This is probably the best nfl video posted to the internet in a few years lol
I love that Beast Mode is a mentor to Najee; they are very different personalities, but that big-bell-cow-back club gets smaller every year in the NFL. Bravo for saving the Beast Quake money shot to the end btw...that play is football porn at its finest.
Hes such a funny guy, i love when he goes on conan to play the new video games.
Not giving the ball to Marshawn at the 1 is the biggest fail in Seahawks history.
Marshawn Lynch, the man, the myth, the legend!
Lifelong Seahawks fan. Imo he was everything that embodied the seahawks
Legend
Out high school football coach used to always end his pre game speeches with no fucking prisoners! God this title took me back 😂
Question, since we both balled. What is your experience when a running back fumbles, especially in a big situation?
Let's say we are back in HS. Our RB puts the ball on the ground IN THE PLAYOFFS, on the ONE/goal line. Do you think coach might have reservations next time? JC JW
and that is why he is a GOAT of a Seahawk, from Beastquake, Beastquake 2.0 AND SKITTLES!!!!
I will always miss Marshawn Lynch runs.
His cameo in Brooklyn Nine-Nine was awesome.
Him grabbing his balls while scoring tds is forever hilarious
I was fully expecting you to include his “beast mode” interview during spring training his rookie year…someone made a crude music video of it back in the primitive days of YT…let me see if I can find it…
My favourite actor from Westworld season 3
Dont forget part owner of the Seattle kraken, and starred in Bottoms one of the funniest movies ever
the best part about that stuff with the Raiders where he got ejected for shoving the ref is he was trying to get to (ANOTHER COUSIN OF HIS) Marcus Peters and the refs thought he was trying to fight him but he didn't like how they were handling him and he was trying to help him
Still one of the biggest boneheaded call ever.
I had a ringing in my ear for almost a year after Beastquake...
He's also part-owner of the Seattle Kraken
one of my favorite players in the game
"Koosh" lmao
That’s why they call him Beast Mode
Running thru my bosses face when i get to work
He's also a part owner of the Seattle Kraken
You should do a video on NFL stars who became actors.
Very fortunate to get into football right as Beast Mode was entering his prime.
Enjoyed every moment of it, even if they didn't give him the ball in SB49 (we won the previous year, it's not as bad as 28-3)
If he wanted the ball, maybe he should not have fumbled on the 1 in the playoffs? Why does it seem like NO ONE realizes that happened?
He was great on the show Murderville
I'm just watching this so I don't get fined.
I always say Marshawn reminds me of one of my cousins who real cool, but would knock you out too. Like they don't play and they real. I respect Marshawn. Didn't know he only a year older than me though
If you ever find a reason to come to Oakland go to his restaurant, good food, very strong drinks, and great service
Josh Johnson’s daughter is going to be a big time basketball player. Will be cool to play up the Marshawn connection there!
sorry fred jackson 🤣😅😂
Also forgot to mention he is part owner of the Seattle kraken NHL team
Love him or hate him. That dude was a human freight train
Adrian Peterson v Marshawn Lynch for me. Two of my favourite RBs ever
Those old bills uniforms were terrible, but i would love to see that helmet again.
Fun fact: Seattle would try the run play from the 1 yard line the next time they got the opportunity.
They failed.
He fumbled that year, in the playoffs, on the 1
How many different titles is this video going to get?
He's my favorite player of all time.
Maybe he qualifies as the "most brutal" RB since the turn of the millennium, but I wouldn't go so far as to say ever. I can think of more than a few that preceded him that were at least as brutal
Jim Brown
@MrDan708 : He and Gale Sayers definitely have Lynch beat in my book. I'd also put John Riggins, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, and Mike Alstot ahead of him
💚
Jim Brown might not agree
As a Rams fan and as much as i HATED the Seahawks in the Early-Mid 2010s, i always liked Lynch. Reminded me like an eccentric Steven Jackson who was always just being himself.
People who have never played high level football act like they know the game. Guess what? If ou fumble the ball, ESPECIALLY on the 1 yard line IN THE PLAYOFFS, then you KNOW you ain't getting the ball when it matters in that situation.
5:23 Correction it was Super Bowl 48 not 47
Lynch was a BEAST!
Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in one game.
Watched him be one of the worst short yardage rb I've ever seen. It's hilarious to me all pretend he was a lock. He was not at all
9:48 😂😂
Oakland and Cal legend Marshawn Lynch
Earl Campbell would like a word. But Marshawn Lynch was awesome
I was so happy when the Bills traded him. Go pats.
Great back but he's top three behind Earl Campbell and BO Jackson when it comes to brutal backs.
Coosh? Lol
He was the same class as AP?
TY Buffalo😊💚💙💚💙💚💙
how many more times are you gonna change the title of the video?
MY LIKE WAS THE 420TH :)
To be fair Lynch was barely getting past the line of scrimmage during that SB
🤣😂🤨
Lynch was a beast, no doubt about it. But I’ll take Earl Campbell any day.
My guy was born on earth day and caused an earthquake. I'm not surprised, people born on April 22nd are all beasts, and no I don't say that just cause that's my birthday too
Too soon about the 1 yard run. 🏈😡😡🏈
He wasn’t even the most brutal running back of his generation. AP was violence. Alstott was more brutal. Jim Brown was a beast. Earl Campbell, just watch his runs and try not to fear for your spine.
One of my favorite players of all time, even though I've never been a Seahawks fan. Absolute legend.
Super Bowl 48 5:31
one of the easiest to see scripted runs you will see.
As I recall, Lynch was the first player to join in with Kaep in his protest against the country that paid him millions of dollars to play a kids game. I remember a bar owner who put both jerseys down as a doormat, but made the mistake of putting Marshawn first.
Why do you always say 47??? The Seahawks won superbowl 48!!! Numbers aren't that hard.
Jim Brown, cough cough.
Larry Csonka, cough cough.
John Riggins, cough cough.
