To people who seem unclear, the #88 thing was always said amongst sports fans and sometimes even sports media as a joke, as in keep Marvin Harrison's name out of your mouth, you're better off not even mentioning it for your own personal safety.
It's not Kofie trying to censor, disguise, or even pass judgment on anything, it's just referencing a well established joke. Now, whether joking about someone's gun allegations bothers you or not, that's different, but it's very close to the bottom in terms of offensive things you can read on the internet.

there are exactly two things in sports that make me irrationally angry to this day. number one is that play because not ONLY was it palmers knee, but they took out TJ housmandzadeh on the same play, which i've always thought smelled like it was on purpose. have utterly despised the steelers since then. the other one is the cards steelers SB TD interception runback, and then harrison not being kicked out of the game after a face mask on kurt warner that was so bad he was literally wearing his helmet backwards. no flag on the play. most WTF no flag i've ever seen.

Playing against Peyton Manning in Madden was a chess game within the game because he ALWAYS audibled at the line. Every. Single. Play. If forced you to stay on your toes when calling a defense.

I really loved this video, but if I have one criticism, it's that Kofi should use the side camera less often. Not get rid of it, it's a good bit, but just... less. Like five times an episode instead of three times a minute, you know? Other than that, though, this was fun, well written, and well presented! Thank you for this!

That was like the only shot you at him and even then that wasn’t always guaranteed to stop the play he called up

Before i watch the video, my money is on Madden 08. Playing him there on All-Madden difficulty is true final boss material. Guy will audible 5 times every play to counter your defensive playcall, and if you audible he'll just tack another 2 on to cover that. Also, 99 accuracy if i recall right. Absolute menace

Hated Peyton in that game was drafted by the colts in superstar mode as a running back he'd always audible to plays where I'd be blocking😂😂
And he spends the entire play clock to annoy you. You know he's going to snap the ball with 1 second left and still struggle to get pressure.

Madden 07 was great (and the last Madden game I played). Loved the Be A Pro mode. Training Camp, franchise mode, Jim Rome. So much fun!
Madden 08 (the last great Madden game IMHO) was just as good, if not better than Madden 07

Keep in mind that CPU Peyton Manning would audible pretty much every play in the mid 2000s Maddens as well (I believe that really kicked off in around Madden 2005 on the PS2/Xbox era, though maybe it was a couple years earlier). Audibles by other QBs didn't happen nearly as often.
Ya, this was the real problem with 12 year old vs Madden. Dude was a savant, sure, but the punk BLUE 42ing every time for the AI was the closest thing to playing a real life opponent (whose looking at your controller when you pick your defense)

Ah, one of my favorite Maddens (08) referenced a lot in this one. I remember seeing the QB vision as Manning for the first time and it truly was a "whoa" moment about his skill
Another banger. This was very informative and I feel ya Kofie about playing against the CPU a lot as a kid. Not all the time, but a decent amount. Peyton was a bully in 06-08.

We know lewis didnt kill anybody. I dont like the harrison censor either (wasnt even a suspect after two weeks of investigation), but we know what happened in the lewis case. AT WORST he killed someone in self defense (not what the court concluded so probably not even that).
